Lets talk designer paper, shall we? It comes in a mind boggling array of colors and patterns. There are so many new papers being produced all the time. I have gobs of the stuff and if I stopped buying it now (big IF), I wouldnt run out EVER! Im betting many of you are the same.
~ Altered Designer Paper ~
Today, I challenge you to get your creativity on and put a new spin on your designer paper. You can stamp on it. You can emboss it. You can flock it. Just use it differently than you normally would. You know those gorgeous papers that have ornate flowers in the corner? How about cutting around those flowers a bit and tucking your image or sentiment into it? Great idea, huh?
Just after I uploaded my card, I saw your challenge, Holly! My card seems to fit right in so I hope you don't mind me adding it here. Here's my Handpicked Pumpkin. Thanks so much for looking!
Great challenge, Holly. I sometimes use my Copics and make stripes when I need a DP to better co-ordinate with my card colors. This time I simply stamped a motif. Have a pleasant Labor Day.
Woo-hoo I get to play today! Thanks Holly for another fun challenge. Here's mine:Santa's Night Cap.
Here's a second attempt:

Reason: adding a second photo
A fun technique, Holly. I had planned to alter my DP in another way, but lack of the right DP made me go another direction. I think I actually like this way better! Here's my Rugged Cowboy.
ok... don't laugh
I might have created a new fruit... a tumpkin, teach, peapkin? my "apple" resembles a tomato/peach/pumpkin! don't give up the day job!! oh, wait... THIS is my day job!!
Holly, thanks so much for this challenge. As noted in my card description, I almost never stamp on my ds paper--I'm afraid I'll ruin it! So this challenge was good for me!
When it comes to Designer Paper I'm challenged. Is there such an affliction? It's not altered too much, but I think the extra texture added some interest.
