Hi all - I haven't been in the forums for a while, so there may already be something going on about this, but I'm trying to find Cricut's Tags, Bags, Boxes Cartridge and comments by anyone who has it or has used it. I keep hearing all these great things about it, being a new owner of Cricut (it hasn't even been delivered yet), I need some help - anyone? Susan
I have that cartridge.... I like it! I used to use it often until I got the Art Philosophy Cartridge that Close To My Heart now offers and now that's the only cartridge I use. Crazy, I know! It has everything on it...the 3D boxes, tags, 3D flowers, doilies, top notes, circles, a little of everything all in one.... 700 different images.
I have it, love it ;) so many boxes to choose from and the best part is making them the right size you want ;)
if you have an expression is the best because you can make the bags bigger. not sure how big you can go with the regular cricut
Hi Martha and Anne - I was just doing some price comparing the CTMH cartridge seems very expensive, even though the "Tags, Bags" is retired, which always increases the price - can you tell me what the difference is between the 2 that makes the CTMH so much more expensive? I have a neighbor who has the Tags, Bags, and loves it too. But I don't want to be knocking on her door every time I want to make something, so I'm now looking at both of these, but price-wise, Tags, Bags seems more reasonable. Does it do less? Have fewer shapes? Just trying to do some comparisons to see why the price difference. Thanks to both of you - at least I know you both like the Tags, Bags, but now I'm curious about the CTMH item. Any info helps!! Susan
WOW just looked through the autumn winter catty - so many gorgeous sets!!! Is the Cricut cartridge available by itself or just as the bundle??

Hi Angel - which cartridge are you referring to? Susan
Hi Susan. I'm sorry. I was so excited after looking at the cartridge, I forgot to say which of the cartridges I was talking about. I was referring to the Art Philosophy one from Close to my Heart. I also have the Tags, bags, and boxes cartridge which I also like. It's better if you have the larger cricut expression because you can make larger items. Otherwise they will be pretty small. Hope you enjoy your new cricut!

Hi CardLadyToo - I'm afraid I don't know what cartridge you are talking about - can you explain? And Angel, thanks for the clarification - and I did order the Expression, so I can make any size I want (I guess). Thanks to everyone for your info - it's giving me a lot to think about!

The CTMH cart includes matching stamp sets, chipboard shapes and right now it includes some extras like two more stamp sets or something. I am not a CTMH demo, but I do have both carts. I love the TBBM--probably because I have had it since it was first released. I am enjoying the Art Philosophy cart--fewer boxes, but the boxes on it are nice. I recently posted on my blog a pic of little nugget boxes I made with the CTMH cart. I also love the
3D flowers you can make with the CTMH cart. I posted a pic of a card/gift bag I made using the 3D flowers on my blog, also. So each has wonderful things about it.
The Cricut cartridge that Close to My Heart is selling is more expensive because it is being sold exclusively by Close to My Heart and they need to make a profit from it in addition to Provo.
The Tags....cartridge is a very nice cartridge by won't cut very large on the original Cricut machine......not wide enough.
On the Expression, just cut it Fit to Page for the largest the image you want.
If you have the Design Studio you can really do well with the Tags.....cartridge since you can make it the dimensions you want.
I have the Tags.....cartridge and the Design Studio and love it. I find it to be great for small items. Also the "extra" images on the right hand side of the page can be used with many other cartridges in addition to the Tag......cartridge.
Thanks Patti - I've never purchased much from CTMH and don't know if it's worth the extra money to me -- so will look at the Design Studio next and see what I think - it's great to get so many new ideas. Susan

I was asking Mindy if the CTMH one was sold only in the bundle ............that is why I quoted her post............
I wish that they sold this cartridge without the stamp sets and chipboard. I understand why they're doing it to sell more product, but they're also loosing a lot of sales from people who only want the cartridge.
I never use chipboard (don't care for it) and don't want the stamp sets. $99 for a cricut cartridge, since I wouldn't use the other things, is way too much money. Wish they would sell just the cartridge or I knew someone without a Cricut that only wanted the other things.

I agree! I also just noticed that Creative Memories is now selling cartridges ($55.00) and the newest machine at $299.00...
I decided to go ahead and purchase the cartridge since my neighbor has the tag, bags one and is willing to share. And since I will use the stamps (but probably not the chipboard), I could justify the price. Hope I made the right decision. Will let you know after I receive it (haven't received my Cricut machine yet either - I may be puting the horse before the cart!). Susan
