I have a confession. Im forgetful. I have always been a list keeper so extreme, in fact, that its consider OCD. But thats not my point..LOL. If youre like me, when you are looking through the gallery, you hit the cute {Heart} button to add things to your favorites and then you forget. I have cleaned my favorites file out only 2 or 3 times in the seven years Ive been a member here.
~ In CASE you forgot ~
So, your challenge today is this. I want you to go to your favorites folder and find the FIRST card you added (mine was from 2008!). You are to CASE that card/project. You can change things up a bit, if you need, but I still want to be able to recognize it as a CASE. THEN, when you upload, please link to that card as well as send a PM to the person who created that card. You can tell them about this challenge and give them a link to see what youve done!
What a FUN challenge Holly! Off to check my faborites.

Well, I knew I should have gone to bed before I looked at the Technique Challenge. What a cool challenge this is, Holly. Here is my first Favorites card -- Friends are Angels by HB -- from 2004. (I've never cleared out my Favorites.) Here's my version --
What a great challenge, Holly. I'll have to work on mine tomorrow, but it's a new technique for me. Interesting going back in my favorites. At least in the earliest ones, probably about 75% are done by dirt pile girls.
What a great idea Holly. I am not sure which was the first one I marked as a favorite as the date shown is the date the card was posted. On this basis, I will choose the 'oldest' post. Look forward to playing. Back later to show it off.

What a great idea - we should have to do this every week to clear out some images on SCS!!! I hope you like my card - inspired by Melody (Lacyquilter) in 2006!
What a FUN challenge. I've seen the year 2004 listed a couple of times - which tells me that was a good year - as my first FAV also goes back to 2004. I will have to play later today or tomorrow, as I am out on the town most of the day with hubby See you all later - cannot wait to play.

Here's my card for today's challenge. I've also attached the card made by Mrs. Angotti that I CASED from my favorites. Great challenge Holly.

Wonderful idea for a challenge! My first favorite is .. are some baby shoes that could be used for a shower. I fav'd it because I thought someday I might be asked for an idea for a shower. However, I don't have a template or die for the shoes, so I'm working on using my second fav, which is a card with iris folding. Hope the challenge police don't arrest me! The challenge does ask for the first "card" so I should be legal. I'll get it uploaded a little later today. Love looking at what others chose as favs.
What a great challenge, Holly. I see 2004 has a lot of company!
I have a question - some of the comments on this card have no username. Does that mean the poster no longer belongs to SCS?
And I really should clean out the favorites - probably no one cares how many times her card has been favorited, if it goes back that far LOL!

The first "card" in my Fav's was an iris fold vase here by Patsell. This is the card I made today. I've sent Pat a PM thanking her for the inspiration.
Thanks so much for encouraging me to visit my favorites, I couldnt believe how far it went back! Thanks to you I did some clean up (I guess tastes change over time LOL) and I spent some time making notes about the ones I love best. Here is my CASE:
I've never cleaned up my favorites...too daunting a task now. Our tastes change, but I still love the first card I put in my favorites by Ellen Hutson. It's from 2005, I joined SCS in 2007 and didn't upload until 2009....I was a BIG TIME LURKER!!
