Talking 8/20 Date Night
Life is super busy all the time, but every now and then hubby and I get to sneak away for dinner....it used to be so hard to get away because the kids were little and sitters were hard to come by, but now that our boys are older, they are able to stay home by themselves for a few hours and that is SUCH a blessing.

In fact, I am looking forward to sneaking away later this afternoon with hubby for an early supper.

Oh yes! It's wonderful when they reach that age. We just went out last night for a date before I leave with the boys to PA for a leadership camp this week. They were able to stay home and watch the little one for us while we enjoyed a romantic candlelit italian dinner!

Date night for us is putting the kids to bed a smidge early and then having dinner together and reading. Or watching a movie. There's nowhere to go in this rural area, lol!

I hear ya, it has been awhile since my dh and I had a date night too especially this summer since my schedule was busier than it has been ever before. Hope, you guys had fun I am actually hoping that tonight we may be able to head out for a quick bite and do some errands that have to be done before our trip.
