Default Substitutions for retired, hard to find at a reasonable price, stamp sets?

I didn't want to hijack the thread about the stamps you always wanted so I'm starting a new one here. We've all seen those stamps that sell for outrageous amounts on the bay. Anyone know of any good substitutions by other companies that are just as or nearly as good, if not better?

For example, CTMH has a new set that might satisfy some of us who missed out on knobbly gnomes. You can see it here. It's called Gnome Garden.

When I wanted Dreams and Dragons (before I broke down and paid $50 bucks for it a couple years ago, I found a Lizzie Anne set that held me over for a while too.

Also the Gumball santa has a subsitute out there, but I'm not sure what that one is. I do know it exists though!

I would love to find substitutes for Branch Out, Yukon, Dream Catcher, Wild Wild West. Anyone know of any?

Gina K. has a new Gnome set, and you can see it here:

Gnome one Like You

Gina K. also has a set similar to Branch Out:

The Giving Tree

Hope that helps!

I think I Brake for stamps has a gnome set too, plus they may have other images that are close to what you are looking for. Great service too!

On another thread, someone mentioned that Impression Obsession has a suitable substitute for Branch Out.

Just a glance at that Branch Out set said "Memory Box!" to me. Always lots of bare trees, branches, and birds at Memory Box!

I second the desire for a much less expensive replacement for Dream Catcher!

Default Possible substitute for Dream Catcher

Ooops ... I meant to post it here but posted it on the other thread instead:

I recently came across this Dream Catcher image from Victorine Originals:
http://www.victorineoriginals.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi

Maybe it is close enough for you and others that want the retired SU set.
