AUG11VSNMINI6-Friday, July 29-10:00pm EST - Living in the Wild Wild West
Title: Living in the Wild Wild West
Hostess: Maria Levine (riaann)
Keyword: AUG11VSNMINI6
Day/Date: Friday, July 29
Time: 10:00pm EST
When I first saw that this VSN was going to be a Wild Wild West theme the first thing that popped into my head was the song Wild Wild West by Escape Club. Cmon you remember it and it stays stuck in your head!
My challenge for you is to use that song as inspiration for your creation. Be sure to let us know what inspired you from the song. You can find the lyrics HERE,but there is a twist you must use some gingham of some sort. Perhaps ribbon, fabric or a stamp but I want to see that gingham pattern somewhere on your creation.
CHALLENGE INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Remember that you cannot combine VSN challenges.
2. You have 45 minutes to complete the challenge.
3. ALL VSN CREATIONS MUST BE UPLOADED BY 8:00 PM EDT ON MONDAY AUGUST 1.
4. Please remember to put in the correct keyword, AUG11VSNMINI6 , when uploading your image. Copying and pasting the challenge keyword is recommended to avoid typos.
It is also highly recommended that you post a link to your creation in this chat thread to be sure your creation is seen.
Here's my sample. The part of the lyrics that "sang" to me where "I love her eyes and her wild wild hair", ok specifically the wild wild hair part!
Hubby is asking for help to clean up his tools now...its pitch black out! Couldn't he ask me earlier?? So glad I warned him about tonight weeks ago:rolleyes: I will be back soon to upload mine.
That is such a cool card! I listened to the song, I will have to think on it for a while. Think I may go to bed and think on it. Five cards must be my limit in one night! I lasted five challenges last mini, too!
I will see you in the morning, unless I get a second wind!

I was inspired by the line "waiting for my baby". I remember and I think most mothers wonder about whether their unborn child is a boy or a girl (at least until the ultrasound). So I took that inspiration and made both a boy and a girl baby card

well...I've done all the challenges. I'll upload my last two cards tomorrow morning when I can take pics outside. Thanks for the challenges. This was great fun!
so excited I finished all the challenges!!! This a first for me but it did take a lot of determination to stay away from chatting while I stamped. Now I have to photo them all and get them uploaded, that may wait until tomorrow.
Our "Rodeo Queen" is tired and hungry after a long day of "waving" to her many fans. So she tells her hunny to put on the Pink Gingham BBQ Apron and grill her up some hot dogs.
