Default Poinsettia

Does anyone know of a die or punch for various sizes of poinsettia petals? I want to make some 3D flowers for Christmas.

I made a 3D peony using the instructions by Valita Reynolds and now want to do a similar poinsettia flower.

TIA

Layered Poinsettia *Available 8/31/11 - Spellbinders Paper Arts - Spellbinders

Spellbinders is releasing a new die that is a pointsettia - link above - looks really pretty -

Check out Linda Duke's blog to see how she used it:
Today's entry on her blog and her July 11th entry -

Linda's works of Heart

I think it's the prettiest pointsettia die that I've seen and am anxiously awaiting it's release!

I really like the New Spellbinder poinsettia too!!
I didn't know if the OP had time to wait for it to be available.
Spellbinders say it will be available around Sept 1st, but you know those dates are just a guesstimate .

Nellie Snellen has a floral punch that is 3-D. I got mine from Ecstasy Crafts when we went to their open house. They also have an on-line store in the US. Is this what you had in mind?

I use Marianne Creatables Dies for my poinsettias. She has three sets to choose from, or mix and match if you like.

I have THIS ONE. And HERE IS A CARD that I made with it so you can get an idea of the size. I like that you also get a little stamen to go in the center of the poinsettia.

THIS ONE is the same size but with serated edges.

And THIS SET, which I've not noticed before is a mini version of the two previously mentioned, all in one set.

I'm off to check out what else is new with Marianne. ;)

I've seen some cute poinsettias using the XL 2 Step bird punch from SU. You could probably use the Blossoms Petal builder punch for layers too.

Thanks everyone for your replies and samples. The samples are gorgeous! I don't know if mine will turn out as lovely but will use some of the suggestions. I did see one that used the blossom punch so will try using it.

What I want to do is reuse some jars as gifts at Christmas. I will make a snack mix to fill them and wanted to decorate the lid and tie red and green ribbon around the jar.

Default Poinsettias made with punch

This is a link to You Tube videos and she has a video of a poinsettia made with a maple leaf punch that is very pretty and looks real easy.

Here is a poinsetta made with Tim Holtz's Tattered Florals die. He used sticky back canvas, but I'm sure paper could be substituted.

Sizzix has a die with individual petals in two sizes. Item 655222 on their web site for $14.99. It is a very pretty shape petal.

I use a regular flower punch that has pointed petals. I punch out 2 flowers - one in a slightly darker shade of red than the other. Then I overlap the 2 flowers so that you see both. I decorate the center with small yellow beads or small dots of gold glitter glue. Looks just like a poinsettia to me!
