FAVORITES for the week ending July 24, 2011
Hi Everyone!
This is my first time posting a new thread, and I'm excited and nervous. Never fear, Judi (Crafts) will still be the leader . . . she's just teaching her helpers so that we can get the ball rolling in case she is gone or busy.
I spent quite a bit of time perusing the gallery this week, and oh my! You stampers do beautiful work! I was overwhelmed with all the choices of favorites for the week. I won't post everything I favorited, so I hope you post the ones I don't.
For the Technique Challenge--coloring blocking with a twist:
joan ervin - TLC334 Feel Better
Pastels never looked so good:
gingerbread-gal - iCopicWC39 - Congrats!
Such a fabulous take on the monthly Sketch For You To Try:
mom2n2 - Guest DT - July SFYTT
What do you think of these cute cupcakes?!
TreasureOiler - Celebrate Good Times Mojo200
Delightful girly birthday card:
ahlers5 - Happy Birthday Sandy
This one is a dream come true:
AmylovesNormaJean - Make a Wish!
Loved this collage tag a la Tim Holtz:
superjen - Inspired by Tim
I had a hard time confining myself to one favorite by MakiJ, but here it is:
MakiJ - FTTC127 - Silke's Inspiration Challenge
You'll want to visit this village:
Christena - My Village of cuteness
Another difficulty was choosing just one sample of this new set. This one is darling:
**Inge** - Sunflower
Check out this delightfully designed garden:
kcs1955 - Friends Are Like Flowers
Beautiful, unique background and image:
stampinsweeney - Pearfect
This one made me giggle:
LittleSeaOtter - Murray with Catch
Beautiful colors and coloring:
BeckyTE - SC342 Faith in Nature BTE
Love the play on words, the ruffled ribbon, etc.:
Whimsey - Nobody Beats You!
I had SUCH a hard time choosing just one favorite from TracyMac's posts this week. It would be well worth your time to look through her gallery. Here's my favorite:
TracyMac - Vintage Garden
Well, that's way more than I usually post, but believe me, I had lots more! ;) I'm counting on you to mention the ones I missed. Thanks for sharing your favorites each week!

If you are new to the FAVORITES thread, please read.
Each week we have newcomers to these threads. EVERYONE is invited to join in. The more participation we have, the more interesting this thread will be.
Want to post a Thank You? Please do not use the Quote button.
Instead of quoting, scroll down and either type your response in the Quick Reply box or click the Go Advanced button. This thread will be easier to read without all the same link lists quoted over and over again. We've had terrific cooperation on this request. Thanks!
Optional: Pay It Forward.
When you say "thank you," you're encouraged to also link to at least one of your own Favorites from last week. This idea started with a suggestion from APandi, seconded by ChaosMom.
Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps.
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the http:// address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Repeat as many times as you need for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Beginners are welcome to experiment in this thread. Broken links are no problem. We'll help you figure it out.

We're out all day today, just popping in quickly to share the few I have.
mother's daughter's great Jake and Jester from the Tuesday tea-party this week.
fishymom's Dunes at Sunset
Cindy Hall's PPA102 - look at the lovely lace curtains in her cabin.
Carol-PA925's Two Crows - after a year of NOT ordering that TH folder this is the card that has put it firmly on my buying list .
And I left a comment on a lovely card yesterday but forgot to favourite it, and don't have time to find it now. Shame that the searching comments function doesn't work too well. It was three or four beach chairs looking out over the sea, I wishes I was there. I'll try to find it when we get home tonight.

Lots of mojo going on in the gallery this week. Here are some of my favorites...
Loved the glorious colors in Chupa's Dance
Fun cut outs and hearts in k dunbrook's Happy Anniversary
this TOTALLY adorable card by pegmac71 Toot Toot Beep Beep!
Although it's hard to choose only one of hobbydujour's (Sallie) cards, her Pearly Foliage just blew me away! I want a big one just like it for my wall!
Great design and color perfection in Kharmagirl's May Your Day Be filled With Sweetness!
Gorgeous collage design in stampertammy's Friends are Flowers
and finally the epitomy of cuteness, snail's Two Cozy
