Wondering who loves the newest in-colors, or do you prefer the older in-colors?
I'm not fond of last year's colors and didn't order any paper or ink, but this year's colors are spectacular (IMHO). I've ordered all the paper and am working on the stamp pads next.
I ordered and received them all last week. I was disappointed that the only one significantly different for other SU pads I already have is Wisteria Wonder.
I LOVE the new In Colors! I love purple, but for some reason Concord Crush really doesn't "do it" for me, but I really like Wisteria Wonder! I got the pack with all 5 colors of cardstock and all the ink pads and full packs of Pool Party and Wisteria Wonder... now that I've played with them I wish I would've gotten full packs of all the colors. I thought Indigo Island would be too similar to NQN, but I really like how it's brighter. I'm quite happy with this set of colors and can't wait to use them at my next stamp camp!

I love love love the new ones but I like the old ones too....some of them took a while to grow on me but I'm going to CRY in two years when the new ones retire! They are soooo pretty! And the new ones really work well with this years! I did a convention swap with calypso coral, peach parfait, and blushing bride and it was FAB! Wisteria and concord really play well together too!
I must be in the minority. I like last year's In-Colors better than this year's release. I agree that some of the colors are very similar to some current and other retired colors that I already own. However, if I run low on Cameo Coral cardstock, I can stock up with the new version. I can also pick up some of that green that probably would go well with Pear Pizzazz or Kiwi Kiss.
I ordered the marker set for now so that I can try them out and go from there.

Me, too! At lease I had to have Pear Pizzazz, Peach Parfait, and Blushing Bride...the best pink they've ever had IMHO. However, I do LOVE Pool Party from this year's offering. I'm crazy for it and that ruffled ribbon!
I agree. Pool party is yummy. I do have that pad already. I'll probably get Wisteria too. The rest, I'm not so sure about. I had to have all of last year's colors, of which Poppy Parade and Pear Pizzazz are my faves.
Pool Party is my favourite. It is close to Cool Caribbean, which I am almost out of. I stocked up when it was being discontinued. Anyone else have Cool Caribbean on hand?

Exactly how I feel! LOVE Pear, Peach and Blushing. Blushing Bride is such a pretty dusty pink! This year it's Pool Party all the way. Cool Caribbean is my all-time favorite in-color and Pool party is so close. I'll have to get Calypso Coral as it goes with Pool Party so well.
I tend to lean toward the subtles, so that is why I love last year's colors.
I'm thinking I'll jump on the Wisteria band wagon too!

I really wasn't sure on last years but once I got them I really liked them and I will be so sad to see Pear Pizzazz and Blushing Bride go... this years colors I am excited about Wild Wisteria... we needed more light purples after they took them all away. Only color I'm not too sure on is Calypso Coral cause I don't really use that color!
I thought last year's colors were just okay, but when I see this years and last year's all together, I like them all. I didn't think I'd like the Lucky Limeade, but it's turning out to be one of my favorites.

I really liked last years colors and really really love this years. The only color I have not used from last year is poppy parade. I like it, but just haven't reached for it yet. But this years colors are great. I am so glad we get them for two years now.

Try Calypso Coral as an accent with browns (soft suede, kraft, espresso)----looks lovely!!

I think I have at least two more full packs of Cool Caribbean card stock.
I just ordered the new in-colour markers and variety pack of cs. I did order pool party paper and ink pad because I know I will use it a lot.

I have CC ink - used it and the paper last night, even. Will the ink be close enough to Pool party? I'm wondering if it starts to dry out if I'd be ok reinking it with PP.

I love the new colors, and the old ones are growing on me. But lucky limeade isn't lime! I was at a workshop last night and that was what everyone said about it. Don't get me wrong, I like it. But it's not even close to being lime.

What Jan said! I loved a card I made with calypso coral, blushing bride and peach parfait! At first I didn't like the coral and I NEVER used the old coral but strangely enough it's become my most used in color I think! I can't STOP using it. Funny how that happens:-) I didn't get the ruffled ribbon in it and wished I had! Hafta wait until Aug 1 now...it will be FIRST on my order!
I agree Sue, limeade isn't really a lime but I LIKE it! It's more maybe what I'd call an avacado? Oh well...I like all of them who am I kidding, hehe:-)
I haven't ordered the new colors yet, but I do like them more than last year's choices. I'm thinking I'll really like to coral. I still love my groovy guava!

ITA agree that is NOT LIME
in no way
nor IMO is the Island Indigo INDIGO
aside from the "misleading" names I still like them
I don't know what it is with the 'in-colors,' but I feel I must have them all. Once I get them, I start to play with them and decide which ones I like the best, then concentrate on those.
I do like last year's in colors better than this year's, but like them all. pool party is pretty, but so close to cool carribean, which I still have lots of 'cause I really stocked up! ;) the limeade is also pretty, but again, so close to other shades. coral is again a repeat of cameo coral which was one of my faves, so I did stock up on that one, too. I really do agree with Lynn, the wisteria and indigo are the only really unique colors of them all, but I haven't NOT bought a new in color yet. tee hee! gotta keep up my rep of having every SU! color.
will mourn the loss of pear and peach when they go away...... sigh......
I'm with you, Jennifer! I'll always have them all no matter what they look like!!
I came into this too late to get Cool Caribbean, Groovy Guava, etc, but I did get some Cameo Coral and a couple others before they retired. I really like this years and am using last years more and more. I also get the variety pack first and then get single packs of what I run out of. I've found PTI matches to some retired colors as well.
Here's an idea: what if they simply brought back some of the old colors, say one a year in the InColor group. One less new name to dream up and paper hoarders would be thrilled.

The in colors are meant to be fresh and trendy so bringing back old colors that they got rid of because of low sales in the first place would really defeat the purpose I think:-) But I'd be all for getting my hands on some more kiwi kiss, cool Caribbean and any of the first group of in colors;-) Of course then I would just buy then hoard more...it's a vicious cycle I tell ya, lol!
I was thinking of some of the more popular former InColors to bring back. Some of those had to have good sales. True, a lot of those really old main colors like Marvelous Magenta would look pretty stale.
Meanwhile, I'm waiting for blues to make a serious comeback, it's been sort of out for awhile at least in the stores here.

I'm liking Cylapso Coral better than Cameo for some reason. I feel like Lucky Lime is so close to Old Olive that I won't bother with it. I wanted a bright lime!

Yes, Pear Pizzazz is my favorite from last year.

I tried not to buy all of last year's colors. I thought Pear might just be too close to Celery to be worth it. What do you think?
Do you use Blushing Bride more than Pretty in Pink?
How about Peach? Is it too close to Pumpkin to be worth it?
I am anxious to see the Indigo in person. I just don't trust catalog colors.
I still have time to buy Pear, Peach and Blushing Bride
Pear and Celery are pretty different, IMO. Celery is a cooler color, Pear is warmer.
Peach Pizazz is not like Pumpkin. More like the old Apricot Appeal, but yellower.
I do use Blushing Bride more than Pretty in Pink. It's warmer and nice with a lot of my favorite colors. It goes with the new Calypso Coral like peas and carrots!
I haven't used Indigo much yet. So far, I have used the new Coral and the Lucky Limeade more than the others, but I'm loving the Pool Party as well. In fact, I love all this year's In Colors.
I was so against the idea of in colors when they started them - just one more thing to buy and have retire
But once they announced they were lasting 2 years I gave in
Last year I didn't get any. I've been trying to do some challenges lately and they use lots of in colors so this year I just ordered the the newest IC paper and markers. I figured I can use the markers to color most stamps and that would save some dollars on ink pads. I LOVE LOVE LOVE all the sneak peaks I'm seeing with the Spice Cake paper so I know I will love Pool Party IRL.
Blushing bride is the one color from last year's group that I wasn't too excited with--I'll definitely try to combine it with the colors everyone has suggested here. My favorite from this year is island indigo and and I love the combo of concord crush and wisteria wonder. I also like the ribbon for this year's in-colors much better than last year's.
