Default Your 3 favorite items you use for crafting...

cards or scrapbook pages?

I have seen a lot of buyers remorse threads, but I thought it might be fun to see what people have acquired and enjoyed using.

Might help beginners wanting to get into our hobby.

Okay.....

1. Bone folder

2. Acrylic stamps/blocks

3. Versafine ink in black

These are simple, but ones I use in nearly every project.

I am excited to see the answers we get!

Beaglelover

p.s. I decided to post this thread instead of cleaning my bathrooms. More fun

2: Score Pal & Score Buddy: Nice crisp folds and score lines...
3: Embossing folders: Can't think of an easier way to add texture and interest to backgrounds...

I think things like the Scor-Pal, ATG, die-cutting machines and dies are more or less no brainers, so here is my list of slightly more obscure things that I didn't know how much they'd become some of my go-to items...

1. Cutterbee tweezers
2. Pick-me-up stick
3. Sookwang tape

(if I could add a fourth, it would be my Stamp-a-majig)

It is the Quickstick Pick Me Up tool. I ordered it on-line about 8 months ago. Recently I've seen it for sale at my HL in Las Cruces.

There is a tip with a reservoir filled with a thick green slightly tacky substance on one end that you can twist the tip (only a teeny bit is needed) and a small bit of the green tacky stuff sticks out the tip. I use it to pick up small embellies to place on my card with precision easily. Most often I use it for the SU pearls and rhinestones. I push the pearl sideways just a smidge with my fingernail to get it to break free from the backing paper, then touch the green tacky end to the top of the pearl. It picks it up and when I place it onto my paper, the pearl stays when you take away the tool. Anytime the green tacky gets less tacky than useable, you pinch off the extruded little bit, and turn the end a teeny bit to get another bit of green tacky to stick out.

Another great thing about it is the other end of the tool has a mini tool stuck into it. One end of the mini tool has a very small pointed end, and the other has a flat tip chisel type. Both ends have come in handy various times.

Versafine Black ink for stamping, distress inks for colouring
Stamp-a-ma-Jig
Craft knife with sharp blades

I found a choice of three quite limiting, because there are several other things that live on my desk for everday use. A knife isn't much good without a cutting mat, but I couldn't leave out the stamp positioner!

1) SCS gallery. Seriously. If I'm blanking on what to make I browse the gallery and it always gives me great ideas.
2) Stamp-a-ma-jig.
3) Stardream paper. Oh how I love adding a little subtle shimmer to my cards.

Gee, only three?! I guess if that's the rule, then they'd have to be:
1. My BigShot (for nesties and embossing folders)
2. My MS score board
3. My ATG
I guess I'm kind of a tool junkie, lol. Now if I had to choose actual supplies, they'd be:
1. Prismacolor colored pencils
2. Memento Tuxedo black ink pad
3. Wausau card stock

Well, I am going to guess that most of us use stamps and some type of paper....
After that:
Atg
paper cutter with well (can use pencil w/o lead or something similar instead of bone folder)
markers
