Hello! I'm filling in this week for our beloved Roxie. No due date for posting your card to any weekly challenge. ***************************** What is the Sketch Challenge: in Andrea’s words from SC08 (Andrea is the founder of the challenge): "You take the sketch I provided and use any stamp set, any accessory, and any kind of paper to make a card. So all of the cards have the same basic layout, but they all look very different." -It is fine to flip the sketch, change panel sizes, shapes, card size and border as you wish (unless stated in the write up for the week), a little tweaking is fine but let’s see those main elements of the posted layout please. (The numbers and colors are requested from players so it's easier to read the layout, it means nothing towards colors used or number of borders when creating your project.)
Hello! I'm filling in this week for our beloved Roxie. I've been absent from the gallery these past weeks, but I'm thrilled to be here this week!
This week's sketch is an easy one, that does not require any speciality shapes, etc. However, you can use die cuts that "resemble" the layout shapes. (Rectangles work best for this one!) I've added the sizes of each of the sketch elements to my Sample Card.
You can find measurements in my card description linked in post two. Open the link and they will be at the top of the description. OR The attachment will print out to actual size of an A2 sized card for most computers. A2 is 4.25 x 5.5 inches. Printing directions are in the Master Thread linked above
Hi Faith, you were missed. Welcome back! Thanks for posting early.

First, thank you, Faith for filling in for Roxie. It is appreciated. Secondly, thanks for the TWO layouts....it was great to have a choice for a card base. It was extra work doing all those measurements to keep proportions the same. It is a lovely sketch and one that I am sure to use again and again.

Thanks for such a great sketch choice Faith! And thanks for giving Roxie a much needed break! I will have to do mine tomorrow, off to work right now! Will check out the gallery when I can today!

Hi all! Thank you for a WONDERFUL sketch to play with this week! I chose the square card. A little tribute to my Miniature LongHaired Dachshund....Baxter! He is the ultimate little crafting buddy and I'll bet all of you animal lovers out there can relate! I know it is a card challenge and I did make a card, but I am going to frame it instead and put it in my craft room. Can't wait to go look in the gallery and see what everyone else did! Have a great day!
Hello, long time no see! It is so nice to see so many familiar faces still here. It has been nearly two years since I have uploaded a card. Unfortunately, life got in the way. With three family members in their 80's and 90's, somebody was always in crisis and crafting had to be put on hold. But things are settling down a little, so I am making some time for myself again and hope to participate in the daily challenges.
Thanks for hosting this week Faith, great sketch!
