Saturday August 13, 2011 10 a.m. � 5 p.m.
First National Bank of Hartford
116 West Sumner Street
Hartford Wisconsin, 53027
Hartford is located 22 miles north of Milwaukee.
Set Up from 9:00 � 10:00 a.m.
Stamping 10:00 � 5:00 p.m.
$25 Per Person � cost will cover room, prizes, lunch, snacks, chocolate, drinks and much more!
Door prizes, garage sale, tons of fun!
Please see attachment for shoebox swap instructions, optional swaps instructions, and application form.
There will be a "Garage Sale" so bring your stamp/scrap items priced to sell. No current Stampin' up! merchandise to be sold. Please limit your stock to half of an 8 foot table. Due to an overwhelming sale, we do not want all space taken up by the Garage Sale. Thank you.
Fill out attached application with a check to guarantee your spot due to limited space by July 25, 2011. This will give all stampers time to prepare their swaps. Totals will be given by July 28th.
Don't be discouraged if you are a newbie or not sure of yourself, we want to welcome you with open arms. There will be people there that will be willing to help you. We want to make this fun for all types of stampers!

Finally something that is not changing  . I am even guilty myself because the Friendship Swap is not going to happen this year. Maybe next year, right now the focus is on Stamper's Paradise. All these boxes that need unpacked, yikes. But hopefully I will be able to find things when it's all done.
Luckily mine is just a pause at this point.

Crystal - It's a wonderful Shoebox, my coworkers from DesMoines came last year for the whole weekend and I think they're coming again this year. The Shoebox is worth the trip but if you can make a weekend out of it, we can do some site seeing, too. We're located in one of what I'd consider the top 3 most beautiful areas of Wisconsin!
I hope you and some of your stampin' friends can make it!

It sure has been quiet out here on the forums but I'm sure we've all been busy in our stampin' rooms - that's the good news about this Wisconsin weather! Tiffany and Tamara have a few family things on their plates but I know we'll be seeing the sign-up form and registration info coming out soon for the 2011 Hartford Shoebox.

How does this work? Do you make a card for everyone? Or do I put a card kit together and each person gets one and makes it?

I love these 3-day weekends, I'm at my parent's house getting jobs done so I can go home today and start playing in my craft room! Music, tea, treats and stampin stuff, all set! (I hope some creativity comes into play when I get there!)

Well after the relaxing weekend I am having. It will be time to get going on the stamping room so I can start to figure out my projects. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again. The Annual Hartford Balloon Rally is on August 13th, too. Dusk is the best time to be there. Anyone that wants to stay around town that late, we could have a cook out or go to the Mine Shaft for supper. Campers - Pike Lake State Park is 10 minutes away, Ledge Park about 25 minutes, my favorite Astigo Park & Campground is not too far, either.
