CC51
Hi! I am so thrilled to be the hostess for the Color Challenge this week! I'm even posting extra early for all my sistah's out there that stalk and lurk the forums waiting for the new challenge--and you all know who you are.
This weeks challenge was first inspired by gotta_stamp. Here is her beautiful sample: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers.
The colors for Color Challenge 51 are Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive.
Don't forget that you can always add to the challenge. These colors are just a starting point. In my examples (down below) you may notice that I used Sahara Sand. I also used Certainly Celery (on the gnome card) because the new SU color wheel paired them together as a good combo for 2 step stamping.
Have Fun!!! I can't wait to see what you all come up with. And Please remember to put CC51 in the "Keywords" so we can all find your fantastic creations.
First time stalker here. Guess stalking pays off sometimes. I was just curious as to what the color combo was going to be even though I am not able to participate until probably Wednesday night. Great color combo - thanks for giving me something to think about.
Oh, I just happened to check not dreaming it would already be up....thanks Jenny for posting it early....I might even make one tonight or early in the am. I am a happy camper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yippee! Since doing my first challenge last week, I couldn't wait for this one! I think I'm hooked! Anyway, I wasn't stalking, just happened upon this thread and promptly went upstairs to do one before I went to bed. Here it is: Gallery at Splitcoaststampers
I was hoping to do another tomorrow, but used my very last piece of Elegant Eggplant. I do have some on order already and hope it comes in before the challenge is over.
These are some of my favorite colors together! I had difficulty with the last one.

You babes are so cute! Now, I don't know if you were or were not stalking, that is between you and your computer... but I am so tickled that people found my thread tonight and are already thinking about the color combo.
I'm off to bed, so until the morning, may dreams of purple and green be dancing in your head.
I'm always stalking....thanks for posting it early, now I can dream about it and come up with something early tomorrow. Love these challenges! I also love the color challenge you have posted...these are some of my very favorite colors to work with, so this will be fun for me. Thanks for keeping it all interesting and fun.

Happily stampin' away the day!
OH MY GOSH! I love these colors - I am totally playing today!!! Thanks Jenny! (psst...I am not a stalker - there is a law against that in NY State now!!!).... Wouldn't want to break the law now....
JENNY! Were you in Milwaukee too? Did you go on Saturday or Friday. I see your avatar and know Shelli was wearing black and white on Friday....was it not SO FLIPPIN COLD that weekend. Good thing we were inside stampin the day away! I have so many new cards now - so many beautiful samples!
NO, I wasn't stalking. I 'peeked' last night before I went to bed & couldn't believe it had been posted an hour earlier. I had been away from the computer separating a couple of orders to deliver at my class today. Then my computer freaked & I had to reboot, so I didn't bother coming back in here to post. Just went to bed. I don't think I would normally put these 2 colors together, but that's what the challenges are all about. My olive ink is packed for my class, so I won't get to play until afternoon. Thanks for the challenge.

I was in Milwaukee on Saturday. Shelli started out in the turqoise shirt but was so cold that she had to add an extra layer. I know the feeling. I froze my tush off. I'm not made for that type of cold.

Alright, the time I don't check before I go to bed and they post early. Just my luck you know!! I will have to get busy as I have fallen in love with this combo!
Oh, I just love everyone's cards so far. I better get off of here and get started on my own! Jenny, your cards are real pretty! Thanks for the challenge!
