Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending May 22, 2011
Welcome to the Clean and Simple (or CAS) Favorites of the Week Thread! Every Sunday we take an opportunity to celebrate the CAS projects that stood our for us in the past week's gallery uploads. EVERYONE is invited to share, so don't be shy!
Here are my favorites from the past week to get us started.
ravengirl's Daisies for Lateblossom totally rocks (and thanks! Daisies are one of my favorite flowers!)
PaperInBloom posted a A LOT of CAS gorgeousness this week, including this uber-CAS one-layer card, but it's definitely worth a peek into her gallery to see the rest
k dunbrook made a very clean and pretty sympathy card with lots of texture and a lovely design
Tilly created a relaxing beach scene that is so very artistic that I want her to send it to me so I can frame it!
krystie lee's Warm Hello is sweet and fun and oh so delightfully CAS
LynniePoo combined creative punching with textured cardstock, a soft color scheme, and a lovely flower to make a fabulously sweet card
stampercamper's Sail Away card set uses color brilliantly for several simple yet dramatic cards
smriti shows a FABULOUS use of the Hero Arts Cuckoo set...one I struggle with, but she's inspired me to pull it out again and CASE her!
dostamping's sweet and simple flowers are beautifully colored and cleanly accented with a single ribbon
NoraAnne posted a colorfully cheerful set with the fab saying "Keep Calm and Carry On"...a sentiment that we could probably all benefit from heeding!
biggan was inspired by a cake to make her sweet and fabulously textured Baby Girl card
alimarbles used soft colors and very clean accents on her pretty Floriculture Notecards
LeAnne Pugliese sponged beautifully on her lovely Fabulous Florets card
Smoatsmom totally inspired me with her clean and graphic get well card
hobbyhopper's clean and simple Sunshine card made me happy even just in the thumbnail...great use of high-impact color to create mood!
Many, many thanks to all who share their art in the SCS gallery. It takes time to upload, and we're all busy, but what an amazing resource we have for inspiration and crafty goodness!
Now it is your turn! Care to share YOUR clean and simple favorites?
Wow....thanks so very much Susan, for the mention of my sympathy card....very appreciated.
Hope everyone has an awesome day. It is our long weekend here in Ontario.
Thank you SO much, Susan, for mentioning my "thinking of you" card. What an honor to be singled out by you! And thanks so much, Karen, for letting me know. It was fun to have time to do a challenge again!
Thanks, Trish! I'm so glad you liked my card to honor Joanne as QFTD. Thanks to Karen for informing me.
