A great big YO HO! to me lil' mateys out thar! Are ye ready to plunder yer ma's stash? Have a look at this 'ere video to get ye started! Argh! (And if ye are short one lil' matey, ye can play along too, just think like a lil' matey!)
Now, if'n ye can't see the video or ye don't know about Jake and the Never Land Pirates, they be a bit of a spin off on Peter Pan! You all know Peter Pan and his enemy, Captain Hook. This song is all about Captain Hook's first mate, Mr. Smee, and his terrible, horrible, no good, very bad cooking! We dare ye to cook up something fer yerself!
Our challenge is to make a card or creation using some kind of food image or be inspired by some kind of food. If ye choose to be inspired by food, be sure to tell us about yer inspiration! Or ye may have to walk the plank! Argh!
Remember...if ye be wantin' yer share o' the gold doubloons, ye can't be combinin' this 'ere challenge with any other VSN challenge!

This is such a cute challenge! And she made a GREAT card! If I can get my kids to sit still for two seconds I'll see if they want to do this!

Toni, I so wish Lily had been here to create a card. Her four year old talent is so cute. She calls all of her cards "BOOKS". She has mastered the paper trimmer this week and is almost there with the SCOR-Pal.
With her in mind I made this card. Make Believe!
I helped Raven too! She doesn't get to cut anything by herself yet, but she did make her very first attempt at sponging. It's pretty fun to put the sponge dauber on your finger, like a puppet!
My food inspiration came from summer BBQ's at the lake. Thanks for the fun challenge!
Oh, I should mention that my girls picked out the image and sentiment and stamped with me on this card but I colored it. They're only 3. :-)
Oh dude. I think I'm going to have to get that sentiment! What a cute card!

I always need another cup of coffee! My kids are being quiet right now so I'm letting them be, but at the next request to watch tv I'm going to try to get them to make a card instead!

Just got my Somethin' For You card done. I love how it turned out. You can't really tell, but those three pieces on the right end are popped up on dimentionals. It's hard to tell with the realistic paper. My daughter is gonna love it!
