Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending April 17, 2011
Welcome to the Clean and Simple (or CAS) Favorites of the Week thread! Each week, this thread helps us celebrate the CAS style by acknowledging those gallery uploads that do a lot with just a little...in simple and minimally embellished projects that shine because of good design and respect for white space. CAS may look simple, but it's far from easy to pull off!
EVERYONE...and that's YOU...is invited to add links to their favorite CAS projects from the past week's gallery uploads to this thread. Newbies are very welcome, so jump right in and celebrate the Clean and Simple Style!
I'll get us started.
lisaadd used some textured cardstock, a fab monochromatic scheme, and a cool border punch to make her pretty teal Hello card
danascott96 made a fab flower grid with a very creative pen-and-gemstone frame
Clear and Simple's Mending Kit card is just so cute it will definitely cheer anyone on the mend
debdeb...well, I only have two words to describe how cool her card is: Lava Lamp!
Tilly used a fab sky and clouds background to make a card of encouragement and her white penned frame is absolutely perfect
Freshn'Sassy made a couple of totally super Papertrey cards: a sweet window card with lots of glorious white space and a fab unisex one-layer birthday card, both with the Modern Basics set
biggan's rocks and flowers card shows of her incredible coloring skills and a fabulous use of Liquid Pearls
Oddesigns made a fun and punchy balloon card that also uses a white pen perfectly
My gallery time was pretty limited this week, but I was still able to find these nine beauties, which means I missed A LOT! So I can't wait to see what you share, too.

What a nice surprise to have two of my cards mentioned today , A big thank you to Anne " jdmommy" for mentioning my Peep Show card. I'm so glad you like my humorous side, hehehe, and also a big thank you to Marie, "momof5sons" for mentioning my Mom's Love card. Big Hugs to both of you
Thanks Karen, you are a sweetheart for always letting us know.
Thank you, Susan, for mentioning my card in your list of favorites...your encouragement means so very much!!! Thanks, to you Karen for taking your time to let me know...I appreciate it!!! Smiling in Sunny Chesapeake!!
I'm glad someone is smiling in the sun....I woke up to snow....SNOW!!, it's snowing ....is it April!!??.....what's going on up here in Ontario.
I have had so little time to stamp or gallery gaze these past few weeks, so I really look forward to seeing the best of the best on Sundays. Thanks to Susan for starting this faithfully each week and to all who participate to show off their favorite creations. I try to send as many comments as I can to these talented stampers.
WOW!!! Thank you so much, Marie, for mentioning my card!! And, as always, thanks to Karen for letting me know! Y'all just make a gorgeous day even better!
Thanks, Susan, for FAVing my hot little lava lamp and leaving such a fun comment here! Thanks also to Karen for telling me! I am so pleased that my son has TWO real lava lamps and loves 'em! Such a fun image, even if it DOES date me! ;)
My smile is a mile wide right now. I made the cut for CAS Favorites of the Week, first time ever!
Thank you, Marie, for mentioning my "Mulberry Flower and Leaves" card in your list of favorites. I'm delighted to be included with all these wonderfully creative ladies. And Karen, I thank you for letting me know of the mention!
