Hey Verve fans! It's almost time for new Verve, and we've got a lot to share with you! We'll be releasing 3 new sets, 4 micro sets, 2 plain janes and 2 new dies this Friday night!
You're invited to count down to our release with us, Friday, April 15! There'll be set reveals, beautiful sample projects from the Divas and what's a party without prizes?!!

Woohoo! A release party I can actually attend! I work until 6pm at the bank; will come home catch me a little nap, then break out the Sambuca and party-on with you guys. I can't believe we are gonna have some new Verve already! I've already been to the Verve blog looking for the spotlight hops but nothing is there yet. Will continue stalkin':p

Just wanted to say to all the DIVAS, your hop creations ROCK! I've gotten half-way through today's and have to stop to get ready for a doctor's appt. but, I don't want to walk away from the computer. :p

It HAS to be pink, Moe! It's the colour I think of when I think of you
My daughter is eying one and I was wondering if anyone can give me the differences between that and a laptop. Trying to figure out which would be most beneficial long term for her.

Hey Marisa! I just went through this debate with Mark the other day and here's what I learned... the main difference between an iPad and a laptop is that you can't install programs on an iPad. You're just stuck with the apps that are available. Which is great for browing the internet, entertaining yourself, watching Netflix, etc., but in my case, where I want something that will run the software for my Cricut, the iPad isn't going to work out. {pout, now I have to come up with some other justification for getting one! Whew! I managed to squeak in comments on all the hops this week! Amazing projects! Stunning details--It seems like everyone REALLY loved the sets this month--but then I say that EVERY month! LOL!

I was thinking the same thing. Especially this week. I decided what I wanted to do, but was thinking those flowers would look so nice. I'm not good at being patient, though. So maybe next week's card....  |

Julee's right. The apps are limited. I would get a laptop if you're wanting her to use it through school etc. We got ours as a second computer to have downstairs... browse the internet, convenient to take when traveling, waiting at docs offices, work breaks for me {since I work for a large corporation and lots of sites are blocked- I can still sneak peeks off and on!!}. __________________ Vickie Z
