Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending April 3, 2011
Welcome to the Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites of the Week Thread! This is the place where we celebrate our awesome CAS finds in the past week's gallery submissions. EVERYONE is invited to share links to CAS projects from the gallery here, so don't be shy...jump right in!
Here is my list of favorites. I had almost no gallery cruising time this week because of spring break and munchkins being at home and DH starting a new job, so my list is a bit shorter than usual. Can't wait to see what everyone else found!
Understandblue understands that blue and orange and lots of white make an awesome CAS card...especially if you add pearls and glitter!
k dunbrook made monochrome look awesome with her fresh green Welcome Spring card
frenziedstamper used liquid pearls to highlight her colorful and pretty wildflower bouquet
mrslaird die cut gray clouds and used them on a one-layer Under the Weather card
whoistracy made a light and cheery Be Free card with lots of glorious white space and pops of brilliant color
ilinacrouse used an adorably hearted butterfly in felt as the focal point for her krafty Just a Note card
hskelly used a PTI set that I simply must have on her delightfully pretty hello card
lnl96 used fabulous texture and lots of white to make her focal point really stand out on her Little Eggs card
As always, many thanks to all who share their CAS creations in the gallery at SCS. What an amazing resource we have here, and it's because so many people share so generously of their time and talents!
Now it's your turn! What did YOU find in the gallery this week?
wow Susan.....thanks so very much for the mention of my Welcome Spring card....
You made my day special and it does actually feel like spring here today....
Susan and Marie, thank you SO much for mentioning my cards! What an awesome way to start the morning!

Chupa put blue larkspurs against a blue background and the results are stunning: Larkspurs by Chupa
Tiffguam made me wonder if she lives in the southern hemisphere as she captured the essence of Fall so well that I thought it must be Fall where she lives: fall by tiffguam

My Marine son is home visiting since he deployed to Afghanistan 7 months ago. I am sooooooooooooooooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lisa, that is wonderful news. I don't know how you can stand having your boy in the marines. I keep telling my boys...if you join the military, don't do special forces or Marines. How do you sleep when he is gone. I am so happy for you that he came home sound and safe.
Thank you so much for adding my home card to your CAS favorites. That totally makes my week because for me CAS are the hardest cards EVER! Big cyber hugs!
Thrilled you liked my 'Fleur de Lis Love' card and mentioned it to everyone here, thanks so much Bonnie...I'm smiling today, 2 CAS cards mentioned!! Yipee...
Thank you so much Susan for mentioning my cut up card. You have made my day. I never think to cut up sentiments, but have made another card using the technique (not CAS). Isn't SCS the best?!? Off to check out many of the fav. for the week.
Thanks to Bonnie aka Bon2Stamp for mentioning my card! ...and thanks to Karen aka k dunbrook for again mentioning it in my comments. Really think you all are very cool for keeping this thread going! It's such a fun way to play on a Sunday afternoon!
