Hi. Me, again. Here's some more info from the cricut boards....
Cables
I found a 6.6 feet cable that connects from the Cricut to the Gypsy that actually works! The cable is of good quality, it is not heavy like the adapters and it is a perfect fit. The cable is a USB 2.0, Type mini-A (male) to B (male), 2m, 4 pin cable. Click the below for the cable and the part number for the cable is 31629. It costs with shipping probably a little over $10.
The cable that connects from your computer to your gypsy can be found probably around your house. The cable comes with gps', cameras, camcorders, children electronics (Leap Frog), cell phones and other small electronic devices.
However, you can purchase a replacement cable or a longer cable that connects from your computer to the Gypsy by clicking the below link. I have found a cable that works and it is six feet long. The name of the cable that is needed is "USB 2.0 A-Male to Mini-B Cable." It has to have a 5 pin in the mini-B part of the cable and 4 pin in the male connector.
