I have to say, there is absolutely nothing I want out of this mini. There is some nautical type sets and a lot of flower sets that look all the same as old sets. The only thing really "new" I noticed was some bakers twine and a few new punches.

I guess it's all a matter of opinion. My friend is a demo and she wants a lot from the new mini. I haven't seen it yet, but she is excited about it. Some punches she liked, and more. Can't wait to see it.

I'm with you! I didn't see anything that I was interested in! I'm a hobby demo and I'm wondering what I will fill my minimum with!!

I'm a hobby demo and I haven't seen the new mini yet! I moved, so maybe the PO didn't forward the catalog or didn't they send out a preview? Does anyone know? I keep looking on the SU site but haven't seen anything yet. Am I looking in the wrong place? I can call my upline tomorrow. I'm just wondering tonight about all this after reading the above posts.
I have to say hooray for baker's twine and new punches!
I also spent tons on the occasions mini and still have more to go! So I won't be sad if there is nothing I want. I'm still anxious to see it!

You can see it on the demo website with all the other catalogs. It should come in the April SS magazine. I have yet to get my hard copy.
We cannot post it yet but there are sneak peeks of a few things that some people have earned early out there. Demos can order April 1, so after that you'll start seeing peeks of stuff.
Don't despair if you don't like much because people tend to forget that the BIG catalog will be coming out in July so SU isn't going to put all their eggs in one basket. I like plenty out of it (Holiday and occasions did major damage to my bank account) but thankfully not everything....until everyone makes me want stuff by posting awesome projects:-) But do remember, the big catty will be out before you know it too;)

Okay, found it, viewed it, loved it! There was more for me to love in the winter mini but I have no complaints this time around. Now that I'm a hobby demo I don't want to "spill" too much but there were sentiment sets I wanted and other stamp sets too. I thought there were some unique things! The punch is too "die" for and it has some unique twists too it. I'll be getting it for sure!

I'm there with everyone else. Can't wait to see the Summer Mini. I am so over the current IBC and the current mini. Just itching to order some new stuff but alas have to wait for the Summer Mini to be released.

If you go to the SU gallery and click on the mini's there is a gallery for the up and coming summer mini stamp sets. There are just a few samples but you get to see the names of the sets and that will give you a little hint of what's to come.
Hope that helps just a little ;)

I've noticed that the Summer mini tends to be smaller (27 pages) compared to the Holiday or the Occasions (both 44 pages), so there is less to either impress or dissappoint depending on your likes. I intentially held off on ordering some staples until this quarter, knowing that the selection is usually less. I'm so anxious about the Spring is Blossoming promotion for the month of April. Host a $350 workshop and get a stamp set and paper pack from the upcoming 2011-2012 IBC for free. Good news is that I like both of those items.

Yes, it is smaller usually...probably because the BIG catty comes out in July! I'm more excited about THAT than anything:-)
...just one more week at it will be avaible to all. That is one thing I liked about being a hobby demo this year. No more having to wait or rely on someone posting a link.

No, it goes live on May 1. So no link for public until then. Unless, of course, there's a leak....

Maybe she meant you can start to get them in person starting April 1. That's when we can buy them for customers and I think the ones that demos have "earned" (sadly I don't earn any, hehe) will begin shipping out shortly after that. So you can see the real thing soon!

Apologies, my mistake. I sometimes get confused with all the dates. Demonstrator pre-order starts April 1st and if you have a demo who orders the hard copy for you (and they usually have to pay for it) it will be delivered mid-April. Customer orders can start on May 1st which is obviously the date that SU! will put the PDF version under 2010-2011 Catalogs - Stampin' Up!
I'm so focused on placing my order April 1st that my brain has become warped into thinking everyone orders then. Did I mention that I am my only customer? Usually SU! plans the demo pre-orders in the last month of a quarter. By then, I have already reached my quarterly minimum, so I force myself to wait for the new quarter to begin which coincides with the actual date of the mini starting. Again, that is not the case for the Summer Mini which is why I confused myself.
BTW - it is possible that the links people have posted in the past may not work this catalog. I only say that because SU! has changed how it downloads. This time an interactive PDF will immediately open. If you want to save a copy to your computer, then you have to save/download from that interactive document. If you really can't wait, I would check with your SU! demo to see if you are allowed to peek at her copy. Like others have already mentioned, there will essentially be peeks here on SCS because the gallery will already have some of the sets setup for uploading cards.

Besides meeting MY demos quarterly minimums all by myself THIS (the advanced viewing of the minis and stuff and pre-order) is the main reason I become a demo...who also (for the most part and then some...or a lot..I have a few customers but buy WAAAY more on my own) is a hobby demo:-) I'm assuming the new format will be how it opens on the customer site as well...I was not a fan. Finally figured out how to get the regular old PDF after a lot of frustration!

Have seen the new Summer Mini and love so much of it...for those wanting masculine you will be pleasantly surprised I am thinking...I know I was!
I have a list that will keep growing I am sure that will set me back at least $200! And I am still adding to it. I love the bakers twine, the embossing powders in summer colors, the sets, oh so much!
You will soon see the mini and perhaps will feel the same way---and no I am not a demo nor so I work for Stampin' up---I just like their products and how they coordinate with each other. I think this is a great mini which will appeal to many---and if not, the big catalog will follow right behind it.
i've noticed a price increase...there is a ss kit...21.95....

Yes, some things are going to go up...it's bound to happen. EVERYTHING in this world we live in is going up...look at gas prices (ugh!) and grocery prices (more ugh). Do I hate it? Yup but can it be avoided? Probably not:-( I'm sure the manufacturers are raising the prices they charge SU for stuff so they have to pass some of it on to us *sigh*. There are sure to be more increases in the big catty come July too I'm afraid....
I thought there was supposed to be something used with the Decorative Label Punch... did I miss it... something about being able to pre-order on April 1st...
Editing in:
Never mind... I found it. It is a polka dotted frame to go with the punch and will be in the August catty but will be available to pre-order on April 1.
