This is the place to post all the fabulous Favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week. Everyone is welcome to join in. I asked PatSmethers for suggestions to simplify the linking directions for beginners, and you'll find the new version in my next post (below).

About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. Everyone is invited to post links to any special cards or projects that were uploaded last week.

Each week we have newcomers to these threads. EVERYONE is invited to join in. The more participation we have, the more interesting this thread will be.

Instead of quoting, scroll down and either type your response in the Quick Reply box or click the Go Advanced button. This thread will be easier to read without all the same link lists quoted over and over again. We've had terrific cooperation on this request. Thanks!

When you say "thank you," you're encouraged to also link to at least one of your own Favorites. This idea started with a suggestion from APandi, seconded by ChaosMom.
--- Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps.
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button.
2. Open a second tab (or a separate window). Go to the Gallery and click on "My Favorites."
3. Click on a card you have saved. At the top, highlight the http:// address. Hit Ctrl+C to copy.
4. Switch back to the first tab and hit Ctrl+V to paste your link there. Repeat as many times as you need for all your links.
5. Click the Preview Post button and check that your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Beginners are welcome to experiment in this thread. Broken links are no biggie. We'll help you figure it out.
I didn't spend lots of time in the galleries this week (computer problems) but I did find a few cards that I thought were just Stunning !!! I can't wait to see others that I have missed ! I know there is lots of them ! Thanks for doing this Judi !!!
Yes these all are from the same gallery I could not choose one among them,she just nuts me,MY God what a creation, this is beyond the word extraordinary.

I had only one favorite this week...and it has been mentioned, but I'll give it another nod:
Sherrylynn, The first email I opened this morning was a notice from Judi. What a great way to start my morning. Thank you so much for the mention in today's favorites. I really appreciate it.
Awwwweee, shucks, thank you Judi, you are so very sweet to mention and link my Easter banner! What a fabulous way to begin my day! It was such a fun project to do and contrary to what many think, it actually went pretty quick and did not take days and days . . . .LOL! Big Hugs!!!!

That wasn't anything you did wrong, Dianne. The forum isn't automatically converting the linked URLs (the http:// addresses) into the card titles today. It's an intermittent problem. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.
This may or may not be related to the issue of the link text not displaying in a bold font this morning. I checked the Site Support forum, and our intrepid Lydia/Understandblue is already on it.
And Judi M., you are still the best! Bless your heart for the work you do. Hugs....

I'm glad to hear you're willing to give it a try.
Just keep in mind that the forum is having some linking issues today. The SCS team is working on fixing it. So, if you run into any problems, it might not be related to anything you're doing wrong. It might just be a forum display issue.
Come to think of it, this is the *perfect* time for newbies to try linking. We can always blame any mistakes on today's forum glitches. ;)
