That was a timely reminder.........thanks! My clothes were still real warm so it must not have been that long ago the dryer stopped. Amazing how much we can block out when reading or looking at galleries here on SCS!!
I allso let a small pot of pasta boil all the water out. Thank goodness hubby was on a military asignment when that happed, cause I would Never be able to live that one down!. Just told the kids dinner will be late.

I ran my washer last week with nothing it it. I was cleaning the machine and missed the timer for when I was supposed to add bleach. It's a front loader and wouldn't stop until the cleaning cycle was over--about 45 minutes later.

I just let an entire cycle in the washing machine run WITHOUT ANY LAUNDRY IN IT because I was looking at all the pretties in the gallery.
And it's all your fault!

Daughter, at 11 pm - "Mom, I really need to have my track and field singlet washed for tomorrow morning 'cause I have a provincial meet and I have to head off to the library to get some research articles - can you please throw it in for me?"
Me - "sure, no problem" Goes back to looking at SCS forums, etc. Gets completely engrossed in gallery, and forgets all about singlet. Goes to bed around 2:30 am.
Daughter, at 7 am next morning - "Mom, where's my singlet, I need it"
Me - uh,oh.......
Good thing it was very lightweight fabric and could just be rinsed out by hand and dried very quickly or I would have been in big trouble, mister!!!

I hear ya. Thanks for the chuckle. Needed it. Today I left the house, lock door. .Ooops, no purse, just keys. UnLock. Get purse, lock. Oops, no cell phone. Unlock, get. Lock. Where's my purse. On arm, Glasses, on head. Need a new head! lol :rolleyes:

I got smart after that happened too many times to count. My new washer won't go into the wash cycle if you leave the lid up. So now I start filling the machine, add the detergent and if I forget to throw in the clothes.....I can still do that and close the lid! YAY for new technology that's smarter than me.
Location: still hiding behind my Foster Grants...can I come out yet?!?

I'm a teacher. I spend so much time on here when I should be grading papers, my students should take up stamping instead of doing their homework!
