Just curious as to what is the favorite stamping ink. As a stampin up demonstrator I use their black ink a lot and stazon. What are your favorites?
About five years ago I decided to use only Clearsnap inks, and I've never regretted my decision. I had had it with drawers full of every brand and type of ink pads and reinkers (I always buy a reinker when I buy a pad). Not only was the storage situation getting way out of hand, but testing all those inks took more time than I cared to think about (I admit, I'm a hard core testing fanatic).
In addition to an array of exceptional products, Clearsnap has the most outstanding customer service possible. Choosing them as my 'ink company' was an easy choice.
I prefer not to use solvent-based inks, so not having one (Stazon) isn't a big deal for me. I've found in about 95% of the times that use of a solvent-based ink is suggested, Ancient Page does just as good a job if heat set. On those very rare occasions when I must use a solvent-based ink, I blend 90% rubbing alcohol with Ancient Page.
I do have one pad (and reinker) that is not Clearsnap...Stewart Superior's Glue Pad, but that's the only one.
Course, I did manage to fill up those drawers that used to hold those other ink pads and reinkers...
for using watercolors or odorless mineral spirits -- Memories Dye
for copics -- Memento (also great for lots of stamping!)
for making backgrounds and distressing -- Ranger Distress (sigh)
for matching to cardstock and general stamping my new love is A Muse Studio ink

I have many, many SU classic ink pads, Stazon, Versamark, and distress inks. I like them all depending on what technique I am using. You really cannot have too many ink pads IMHO.
Momento for Copics (love the look of the london fog color too) and Archival black for most things. I looooove my ranger distress inks too. It is really a personal preference thing.... I have SU and use them when I want color and since I have the refills I don't see myself needing new pads for a few decades at least.
Looking forward to trying the new A Muse pigment inks.
I like memento and versafine black inks. Also like the Color Box chalk inks.
Not a big fan of SU inks anymore because the felt pads get all wavy and it's difficult to get coverage, especially on clear stamps.
I always liked my SU! dye inks and Colorbox chalk inks, then I discovered Fresh Inks and went exclusively to those. They are pigment, but I get really good detail and they dry quickly. When A Muse debuted their ink pad line, I was thrilled to find them very simliar to Fresh Inks, but with the benefit of having matching papers and embellishments. That's what I'm using now. As for black, it depends on what I'm doing with it, but I like Momento and Staz-On.
Besides SU, I really like the Memento inks (all of the colors, not just the black). I also like the Ranger distress inks, and I have one Brilliance ink pad and I really like it as well.
I haven't tried any of the Vivid inks yet, but I'm going to try a couple since a lot of the Gina K. cardstock coordinates with them.

For black ink ... I use India Ink ... no false black that can turn dark purple depending on what you are doing. everything Else, I use SU! inks, but I am finding I really like the Palette Hybrids that TAC carries.

All SU except I finally got rid of the black as it turns purple over time and has a purple tinge even upon the initial stamping.
For Black I use Memento or Stazon.
