Got a little inspiration from my dear friend Deb Felts (debdeb) on this one. Yknow how here on the mainland we have Dress Down or Blue Jeans Fridays? Those days at work when they let you dress down? Well, in Hawaii (where she lived for several years) they have what they call Aloha Fridays where they can wear muu muus or whatever other casual wear they want. Which got me to thinking how can I incorporate that into a challenge? Well, here ya go! Do a card inspired by the islands!! Anything tropical, Polynesian, Asian in a tribute to all of our island friends!

If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

This is a great idea for a Friday challenge, Wendy. Unfortunately, my eyelids are closing but maybe I can tackle this tomorrow. I love your new haircut.
Great challenge Wendy..............I'm listening to the wind howling outside and we have a sheet of ice covering everything and snow on the way. School will be closed again today. Oh lovely winter in Ohio !! ha ha
Back in a bit with my card.

We just got a fresh layer of snow last night...I'm REALLY getting tired of the stuff....so this was a welcome challenge to carry my mind to warmer places. Fun challenge, Wendy!! Thanks!

What a great challenge Wendy. Now if only I could find all the flowers I know I have here somewhere, but haven't seen them since I moved. Hmmmmm. Oh well, I made do with what I have.
This is a super challenge, Wendy. I was scratching my head for a while, but then everything came together. Thanks for some early morning fun!! Here's mine:

I like Fridays (my day off) because I can usually get a card done first thing, but I went out to breakfast with my neighbor this morning. But I did eventually get to do a tropical card for today's challenge.

Okay, I got off the pity pot and put on my big girl panties and made another card with no whining about snow... I also incorporated one of the VSN challenges in my Mash Up Changito card...
