(translation: Good Morning! Welcome to the Scrapbook Variety Challenges. My name is Michele and I am so excited to be the new Variety Challenge hostess. My goal is to have a fun new challenge every Wednesday. I hope you will join me. Now, onto today’s challenge! Can you guess what it is?)
With the popularity of mobile phone texting, Facebook, Twitter, instant messaging and chat rooms, messages seem to have developed into its own language – a coded cryptic one. For this variety challenge, create a page using texting lingo as your title. In your description be sure to tell us what it stands for.
Here is a link that will translate your message or title into a text message.
Here are a few to get you thinking.
LOL – Laugh out loud
AML – All my love
BFF – Best Friends Forever
QT – Cutie
SETE – Smiling Ear to Ear
hpE BDay - happy birthday
l%k @ me – Look at me
This would work great for my dd's b-day in March so I'll definitely do one then...we're having a camping party at Ft. Wilderness with her BFFs...and I just bought a BFF rub-on (or sticker) for it ;). I don't think I'm going to have any time to scrap for then next week or so but I definitely will be doing this...w/ a middle schooler and high schooler how can I not?!

Website = 3 W? Maybe it's because websites usually start with "www".
I love this idea, and will have to see which pic to match it with.
Yup! I thought the same thing this morning after I reread the thread. I still would not have thought it to be website however! My little guy hasn't reached the age of texting yet....enough problems getting him to learn to spell! lol! He has (at age 7) asked for a cell phone however (NOT)
Here are my pages as promised. I was out in the early morning light getting new photos. I find that to be the best time for the postion my house sits to the sun.

I admit, I have have succumbed to an occasional text message, with abbreviations to boot! Although it galls me know how the kids of today are losing out on learning proper English, I, myself, try to abbreviate to save $$. I pay $.10 per text and there's a limit on number of words!
