hello to everyone from Karla in Brisbane, Australia; I just joined Splitcoast today, thanks to Judith, another Brissie splitcoaster.
Absolutely loved browsing through the group's resources, the technique list is awesome.
Welcome to the site. Your friend, Judith, really did you a favour. This site is fantastic. You will meet thousands of wonderful online friends with an amazing talent for cardmaking and scrapbooking. Enjoy yourself honey!

Hi Karla! We've been thinking about all of you in Queensland! I hope everyone is ok. I love Brisbane - I stayed there for a few weeks years ago and it really felt like home.
I have some good links for you in my signature - and please let me know if I can help you with anything.
Hi Karla - welcome to this magical place. So much to see and so much fun to be a part of. And so many friendly and helpful people. I am from Melbourne.
I am from Sydney and have just ordered some of the Magnolia from Tildastown ... I love Tilda and Edwin and though I am an avid scrapbooker more than card maker, I just can't help myself. The prices are great (especially the way the aussie dollar is at the moment) and free postage ..... fantastic!
Welcome Karen. I like the tilda stamps too. Have you ever bought the Magnolia Ink magazine? It's really gorgeous and has such great ideas. don't know how many of us on this Aussie forum like Tildas, but have thought that maybe one day we could organise an image swap, even if it's just a direct thing between 2 members at a time. It's a great way to get extra images and I usually have to go out and buy some of the actual stamps after I recieve them in a swap. LOL.
Hi there, sorry everyone, when I read Karen's post I was thinking I was in the Aussie Aussie Aussie forum and that's why I mentioned the swap. Yet another "senior's moment" LOL.
Not a problem ..am sure we could still swap images ... it's a great idea as I have quite a few stamps but after working thru the websites and stamps around I really only have a few Tilda :-) I also swap stamps with friends here and we will often stamp 10 or 12 images of each stamp when we get together  Like you, if it is something I really like, then I will buy it too.
Am just getting into copic colouring and love it .. have just been on you tube to see how people use distress inks too to colour .. I love the sepia look and find it amazing (particularly when going thru the magnolia ink magazine) how many colours and different products are used to create one beautiful card
Hi Stamo, what type of shop are you in? I visited Vegas once and just loved it! My husband had to drag me outta there kicking and screaming! LOL. I wasn't into paper craft back when we holidayed over there and would love to go back now that I am. I do buy quite a bit on ebay from there though now. I don't have many Tilda stamps either Karen and would like more, but I have to stop and ask myself how many do I really need and have use for. I guess if you were selling cards or such it would be good to have lots, but mine are just used for my grandchildren and their friends etc. I find that swaps lets you try an image before you decide to buy it and I have often bought the actual stamps after receiving an image in a swap.
Jan, it's a rubber stamp store, of course... we have the most rubber stamps of any store in the world and is a MUST see when you come to Las Vegas! Hope you'll make it back again.
If i had taken more notice when I read your post I would have realised that wouldn't I. LOL. What brands of stamps do you stock? I had a quick look but couldn't see brand names.
