F4A50 - Almost Monochrome - 02/04/11
F4A50 – Almost Monochrome – 02/04/11
We’re gonna go ALMOST all one color. There are only a few rules to this:
1. You may use either white or vanilla cardstock
2. Plus, you may use ONE neutral (gray, brown, black, kraft, etc.) cardstock
3. AND, you may use ONE other color of cardstock
4. ALL stamping must be in the same color – the main image, background image and sentiment must match
This sounds hard, but I do it all the time. It’s pretty darn easy, actually. Hopefully the samples posted below will help inspire ya!!
Have fun!
Here are my samples:
Butterfly Birthday Wishes
Monochrome Springtime Girl
Keyword: F4A50

Uploading: Remember the keyword is without spaces. Use a comma between keywords with a space after each comma.
If you are new to the challenges, please feel free to do this one or ANY of the challenges at any time. There is no time limit. They are not races to see who can do one first, nor are they contests of any sort. All the challenges are simply to provide inspiration and to get us stamping!

Okay...this was a blast. It took me a while to decide on a color combo on the stamp set to use. Of course I had to use my Copics again. I am having a hard time not making cards with them.

Warning!!! You might have a cavity after looking at this picture!!! It's pretty sweet!

Tree From Me To You Card . Sorry, I used Chocolate Chip as my other colour and only realised much later after making the card that it means I've used two neutrals, d'oh!

F4A50 Almost Monochrome Challenge
Great Challenge! It was fun choosing the colors due to the limitations! I've been pulling out some older sets and having fun! Here I used the Spring Solitude set and did some 2 step stampin. I also love the embossing folder and that ribbon technique...it works great with the thin tape.
Colours are Whisper WHite, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso.
Thanks for looking...here's my card!
