The cost difference is what made up my mind for me. The Big Shot Pro is over $350 and the Grand Caliber is $129 (retail)........of course, I used a 40% coupon at Hobby Lobby (paid about $90 w/tax) for my Grand Caliber. I haven't seen the the Big Shot Pro in any store except online at Sizzix.com. But I am not a SU demo and don't have very many Bigz dies either.
