This week's SCS Inspiration Challenges was suggested by Birgit (Biggan) who thought it would be fun to create cards inspired by a fabulous assortment of Nail Designs. I love the wide variety of colors and patterns. There should certainly be something for every style this week.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, Ive uploaded three sets of my favorites so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. The rest of you, remember to let us know which Nail Design that inspired you (since the images are in groups, let us know which number).
Use the keyword: IC267 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Cool challenge! Wish I had time to play. I can't figure out what the product is.... are they fake nails? Or are those designs, for nail artisans to recreate? Probably fake nails I guess. Where do you buy them? ANYWAY, great challenge!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What a cool idea for inspiration! I am always fascinated with the designs they paint on nails. I have a birthday party to throw for DH tomorrow so probably won't have time to play, but have fun.
Oh my goodness Stef.............I'm putting this web site in my favorites just to have for further reference..........if you can't find inspiration here then you need to take a vacation !!! ha ha
Leave it to Birgit to find this awesome company.
Back in a bit with my card........how to choose........that's the delima.......

F4A47, IC267 50th Wedding Anniversary
OK, are you ready...this is my card for today's Inspiration Challenge, yesterday's Free for All Challenge, and a special event. TEXTURIZED 50TH ANNIVERSARY is a CASE of Cards by America that I saw in the Dirty Dozen Gallery this morning. CONGRATULATIONS jumped right off the screen at me and I knew I had to CASE it. The inspiration I chose is 0319 HERE although my gold cardstock didn't photograph very well. The Free for All Challenge was to use embossing folders, and boy did I cover that requirement The Fleur De Lis folder, on my background panel, has been used very little and I cannot remember the last time I used it. The next panel is D'vine Swirls which is my go-to folder as is the Swiss Dots. The narrow panel is the new ef I got some time ago, Organic Flourish, and have not used before. WOW...that's a lot of typing! Anyway, thank you CardsbyAmerica for the gorgeous inspiration. Lastly, the special event I created this card for is my 50th wedding anniversary, which will be in May this year. Well, I think I have covered everything and then some....
Thanks, Stef and Birgit for another wonderful inspiration. I have to save this site to be inspired for the rest of my life. It's gorgeous! Here's mine.
