Keywords: SC313 No spaces between letters and numbers, put a comma followed by a space between keywords. The keywords are all you need to have your card show up in the challenge gallery, having it in the keyword line covers more searches. Posting to this thread is not mandatory to play!
No due date for posting your card to any weekly challenge. ***************************** What is the Sketch Challenge: in Andreas words from SC08 (Andrea is the founder of the challenge): "You take the sketch I provided and use any stamp set, any accessory, and any kind of paper to make a card. So all of the cards have the same basic layout, but they all look very different." -It is fine to flip the sketch, change panel sizes, shapes, card size and border as you wish (unless stated in the write up for the week), a little tweaking is fine but lets see those main elements of the posted layout please. (The numbers and colors are requested from players so it's easier to read the layout, it means nothing towards colors used or number of borders when creating your project.)
I liked the out of the box image on this layout, notice the deer and the rectangle are all one piece. Some alternatives:
-If cutting a shape out by hand is not your style try cutting with a die (circle, oval etc) only half way then continue cutting with the paper cutter for the rectangle portion.
-If you want a cut out image but have trouble cutting it with the rectangle panel as one piece, feel free to place it on top of the panel.
-If all the above is so out of your comfort zone, feel free to cut any shape (circle, oval etc) and place it over the rectangle panel.
You can find measurements in my card description linked in post two. Open the link and they will be at the top of the description. OR The attachment will print out to actual size of an A2 sized card for most computers. A2 is 4.25 x 5.5 inches. Printing directions are in the Master Thread linked above.
What a great sketch, Roxie....and Dawn! You inspired me to start my Valentines. This one is pretty "frou-frou-ed" up. I think I'll do another one in a simpler vein next! : ) Thanks for the inspiration!
As promised, I did another card, Roxie....this time following your instructions! : ) This is a wonderful sketch and one that I am sure I will come back to. Thanks!
Here's mine Roxie. I'm so happy to play this week while on vacation. I've truly missed these challenges.

This was a fun challenge. I used a new technique I saw (somewhere) where I colored some Crystal Effects! I was just waiting for the right time to use this......
I had to try this sketch with my new deer die (Tim Holtz) and my new PTI music texture plate. :-) Here is my Dear Friend card. Thanks for a great sketch, Rox! I can see myself using this one again.
