The "Current Colors" and "All Colors" are the same thing...
Also when working with all copic colors the Surprise button may take a second or two (it randomizes from the 334 colors)
Inkyfingrz already gave some insight on future changes (to allow shading etc..) feel free to offer more suggestions... It will be just a while before i can really dig in to the possibilities with Copic (shading etc..)
Ok, I don't get it? I went to the Color Lab site using the link within the top post. Why would I use this site? I'm not trying to sound snarky, I just don't understand the use.

Please explain.......

Color combos that others have posted. For instance...I have an RV95....other than the friends on either side of (skipping a number or two) what goes well with it? For instance, if I type in RV95, it will give me what others have entered into the database that could be possible combos. Maybe you are comfortable with the knowing what colors you want to put together, but I'm new at this and I love the idea.
If I want the color name of something and I only have the number...I can type the number in get the name.
George is working on other possibilities....linking Copics to SU color matches and other things on his agenda...
Awwww.......now I get it!! Thanks for explaining this. I've been using Copics for a few years now and pretty much know what I need. HOWEVER, this is a great tool for when I do get stuck.

Yup.. The main idea of the ColorLab is to help navigate the endless combinations and permutations of colors...
When you think about it: (Selecting 5 colors & excluding blending techniques)
SU 45 Current colors have 1.2 million combinations, and around 150 million permutations...
CTMH 60 Current colors have 5.4 million combinations, and 655 million permutations...
Copic 334 colors have 33.6 Billion combinations, and around 334 Billion permissions...
Seeing those numbers its easy to understand why the "Surprise Me" feature is the most popular and used feature...
Also, now you can right click any of the 5 'selected swatches' (at the top) and lock them in place (preventing the 'Surprise Me' feature from overriding them... ) This helps when you have one or two colors and are looking for inspiration...
I know the Copic ColorLab does really do justice for the endless possibilities with Copic Markers... We are always looking for more ideas / features / etc.. to add... If you have an idea for a utility - drop me a line!
As for crossing CU/CTMH with Copic: I just really need to download a few charts off the internet to compare with the formulas I worked up the other night..
Isn't the whole site for SU combinations, using copics also.
On the left hand size, above, there is a selction you can choose that
brings up the SU cardstock colors, and on the right, the copic color combinations. If I'm reading it right.
If you click on the SU color of cardstock choice; that color appears at the top of the
combo chart, enter on search and it brings up all the copic combinations.
Such a wonderful tool to use, thanks, and thanks, again

As of this minute (literally) the Color Lab(s) work within a specific product line (SU, CTMH, or Copic) - Thats why each lab is separate...
For example: When using SU Color Lab - you will only be presented with color options and results from SU colors....
That said, I am currently working on a lab for matching colors between product lines...
Once that is done... At some point I will work on a color theory lab - both within a product line and mixing product lines...
I have tried several times to bring up the ColorLab to no avail. Just won't go through. Anyone else having this problem? Has the site shut down for some reason?
This is very cool! I would love to have access to this on my Android phone. I can't scroll through the colors, etc. Have you considered making an app? Particularly for Android. That would be uber cool! :o)

I am able to access it. I'm not sure if the site requires any plugins like flash. You may want to check that.
Nope.. No flash.. Well almost no flash.. The only flash on the ColorLab is the grab my button (added a flash component that allows a single click to copy the GMB code to the clipboard.. - but that should not interfere with any of the ColorLab...)
After InkyFingrz just mentioned it to me, I checked and I did not have the www dns record set for the copic ColorLab.. It should be working now, however it is possible for it to take 24-48 hours for the record to propagate throughout the Internet...
Pegstr - are you still having trouble accessing it? Did you put a WWW before copic.mycreateink.com?
This is great, George; thanks for all your hard work! It's really nice that you have the link to SU and CTMH as well, especially since I use the CTMH as well as some others. Great job.....
The best part is the labs are all interconnected - so whenever the companies change or issue new colors and I input them into the labs, any new/better matches are automatically displayed...
Most of the initial mathamatical mathces are pretty good... As users make suggestions and/or vote the matches will improve and the results/lists will get better..
That said, if you see any matches that are off - or you know of a better match.. Feel free to use the 'advanced' link to update the match...
I just found this... I could be in BIIIIG trouble!! Because you know if there is a combo that I love and don't have the Bazzill to go with it... well, I'll have to go shopping! LOL
