Default Help! How to package cd I have made

I have a problem...I have transfered all our old slides from growing up on to cds and want to present them to my sister for Christmas (who hasn't seen and of these photos since the 60's) and don't know how to package them . There will be a total of 6 cds. How can I package them and make them look like a nice present? I can't quite find the right solution.

Thanks, Pam

How about putting each one into a cd case, make a cover insert. You could have a common theme, and perhaps a variation for each different one.
Here's one I did for a CD of favourite music.

Then tie the bundle together with a ribbon and tag.

You can buy DVD cases that hold multiple discs. Along the same lines that Vanislandwoman suggested, perhaps a case like this and then you can make a nice cover for it.

I am working on a project similar to this right now, but I just got my film to digital reader, so I am mostly in the planning phase right now I was thinking I would create labels for the cds and then use the slim jewel cases and create a box to put them in. Make my own "boxed set" of sorts! When you are finished I hope you will share what you end up doing - maybe your idea will be better than mine!

Those are all great ideas...I like the 6 cd/dvd cases but don't really want to buy 25!!!!!! The slim cd case idea is good, I didn't think of just making a band or box of sorts to put around it. Now to think of a cover design. Thanks girls...see it just takes a nudge to get the mind thinking sometimes...

"Back in the day" we made mini albums with the CD mailers found here: Uline Mailers by attaching them together with cardstock in between and decorating everything with dsp, etc. I can't find my templates/instructions right now, but I'll keep looking if you're interested, and I have a whole box of the mailers, so I could sell you just the ones you need for cheap (so you don't have to buy a whole box).

That is a great idea Sue I think I may even have some of those somewhere in my stash that I never even thought of using. I am so glad I came here to ask this question beccause you girls out there are so helpful. Thanks Sue and if you could find the templates I would love to take a peak at them.

I sent an email to the girl that originated the templates, so even if I can't find mine, maybe she'll shoot them to me again. I'll let you know...

Default cd storage

I made a dvd of my sons baseball game under the lights for the whole team and made envelopes for them. I;m sorry I dont know how to get the link to the pic on here, but it is in my gallery. They were the Firedogs. I also make all sorts of different ones depending on the theme of the dvd/cd like school, baby, family etc. I got the pattern from here some where, maybe in the templates section. I think just type in cd envelope.

I still haven't heard back from her, and I still haven't found the CD where I saved the templates. What I do know is that the CD folders were connected with a piece of cardstock cut the same height as the CD folders, and twice as wide, plus 1/8". Score so that you have a 1/8" scored strip in the center of the cardstock, making two more "pages". These get adhered to the back cover of one CD folder, and the front cover of the next one to join them into a book. The ones we made were three CD folders and two pieces of cardstock. Then we cut dp to add to everything, and embellished. It's easier with templates, but you can play around with the cardstock and folders and accomplish the same thing, if you'd like to give it a shot. I'll keep looking...

I found this while looking for the other one I was referring to: CD Holder Mini Album. This would be good for those who don't have the folders from Uline, as she made her own. I don't like it quite as much as the one I'm looking for, but if you're antsy, there's another option...
