I'm still fairly new here, & I'm noticing as I'm reading threads there are many of us from Wisconsin. I'd love to find out exactly where everybody is!!!! Who knows, you could be my neighbor!!
I'm in Waukesha, which is just outside of Milwaukee.
Michelle
PS ~~Hope I posted this in the right place! If not please redirect me
Hi Michelle...I'm in Wisconsin, Kenosha to be exact. My DH made a job change in November though, so we are actually planning to move north of the Milwaukee area this summer. Don't know where yet though (anybody got any suggestions:rolleyes: ).
I'm from the part of Wisconsin that never makes the weather channel or news!! Up north where the sun don't shine!! It's beautiful, actually, but winter is too long!! Eagle River!!! Not really too many neighbors and the pay rate up has yet to come into the 21st century! But I can't see living anywhere else!!
Me too! Love this site with all it has to offer. I have been lurking, but I have decided to come out of the shadows and post and possibly start to upload a few of my cards. ENJOY!

You make the news!! Snowmobile races every year!! ;)
I am from the center of the state... If you put your finger on the center you will find me.. I am an hour West of Wausau and an hour east of Eau Claire just off of State Hwy 29!!
I am a misplaced Wisconsinite!!! Oh I can't tell you how I miss home. I was born in Merrill, just north of Wausa. We moved south and I grew up in Waukesha (the burbs, outside Milwaukee) where I graduated HS. Lived in Milwaukee for a short time a few years ago. Now DH is military and we are all over the map! I miss Wisconsin so much, it's the best place on Earth, or so I think anyway!

I'm also in Racine and I've also been lurking but have decided to jump in and post today. One day I, too, will upload my cards. I am really inspired by all of the beautiful and creative works of art I see on SCS. Thanks so much!
I'm pretty new, too. Also from Kenosha. We should have a crop night or something for all of us in this area ... kenosha, racine, milwaukee, waukesha etc.
I am from Wisconsin, Fond du Lac, and then went to college in Milwaukee, worked in Racine, but now I have moved to Minnesota. I married a MN man and decided to move to the Twin Cities where he had a stable job.

LOL, I just logged on to see what was new, & my daughter's post to this threat is the first thing I see. HOW COOL IS THAT, I love you hon. Well, as you have probably guessed by now, I'm one of those above mentioned 3.
We all live in a tiny town named SCANDINAVIA. Just east of Amherst.
Fran,
it was neat to read your post. I am originally from the birnamwood area, near Antigo.
Michelle,
My DR. is down there in Waukesha. I know that's a l-o-n-g way to go to the dr., but he's the BEST. I wouldn't be alive today if it wasn't for him, & my dear Lord. He retires this year, & I have no clue what I am going to do.
Anyway, hi, Hi, HI to ALL of you who are out there in Wisconsin land. Sue
I'm in Madison and have been for almost 20 years! 71 square miles surrounded by reality ;)
Grew up in Amherst (15 miles east of Stevens Point)
College in LaCrosse
Worked 2 years in Antigo before moving to Mad Town.
I have a neighbor here! I live in Cottage Grove, just 8 miles east of Madison. I was born and raised in Madison. Just built a house out here in CG 11 years ago. We should have a WI card swap or something...? Anyone?
I just stumbled on this thread, and it's fun to see other Wisconsinites! I am from Verona/Madison, but I am currently finishing my last year of college in the Twin Cities. Cross my fingers, I will hopefully be getting a job in Mad-town and making my way back to Wisconsin this summer. I would also really love to do a Wisconsin swap!
My father was a recruiter in Greenfield about 23 yrs ago. There are so many memories from the three short years we were there. I would love to return. My father was transferred to Camp Lejeune and we are still here. But I remember SummerFEST, the botanical gardens, Southridge Mall (where my mom worked), my first memories of snow, Rollie Fingers pitching for the Brewers, and the Packers! We lived at 5303 South 92nd street.
I live in the LaCrosse area, been here all my life except for the few years I managed a store at Southridge Mall in Greendale, and I lived in Greenfield (sounds like ajwood's post)
