Can you believe this is our 3rd year of Scrappin' Goal Challenge?! We sure completed an AWESOME number of pages together in 2008 & 2009 and I'm looking forward to MORE Scrap pages together in 2010! Let's keep scrappin'.
It was SO fun to see everyone's goals and ideas for completing LOTS of scrapbook pages in 2010! Many had a common theme - get more pages done, use what's in our stash, meet new scrapping friends, plan time/crops...
What fun we'll have sharing ideas, cheering success, keeping the motivation and making new friends. Our scrap goal isn't all about getting pages done, it's also about enjoying the process! Please feel free to join at any time!
Here's the CHALLENGE. Each person will post what their scrapbook page goal is for December. We will have a better shot at meeting our yearly goal if we break it down by month. Along with the scrapbook page goal for November, if you'd like to play along with the "Using Stash Crew" decide what your scrapping budget will be for that month.
*In this thread, we'll track how we do for the month. Look HERE to share and track your Annual Goals. *
You choose your own scrapbook page goal and monthly spend goal. You may select 2, 3, 5, 50 pages....you choose. The idea is to be flexible so if you know you're going to be really busy, you can reduce the number one month or if you're going to a couple crops or scrap weekends, up the number. This also works for the budget. Each month, you can change your goals depending on your calendar!
The whole goal of the challenge is to get lots of pages done, use more in our stash before buying new (well at least keep track) and if you want to play along w/ saving --- save $$ at the same time which becomes scrapping budget $ for next year -- or vacation money or Holiday fund!

It's BACK! Oh yes, our Thursday Challenge is back in the form of a FEATURED SCRAPPER! If you've ever played Featured Stamper on Sunday's you know how this works, each Thursday we'll feature a scrapper's gallery for you to scraplift from! Pick any layout in their gallery, scraplift, upload and post back here to the thread so we can enjoy your scraplift! We'll use THURFSxx (date there) and of course SBC10DEC for the upload keywords!

SCS 52 Week Thursday Goal Challenge!
This year on Thursdays you'll be invited to join us for our 52 Week Scrap Challenge. These challenges will be PERFECT whether you're working on your kids albums, 2010 Family Album, Daily Life Album or a "BOM" (Book of Me).
We have a SPECIAL Hostess for every month and each Thursday they will post a challenge that goes with their theme for the month! By the end of the year, you'll have some GREAT pages or a complete 2010 Scrapbook...OR BOTH! :mrgreen:
I thought it would be FUN for December to see if we could grant some wishes for our Scrappin' Sisters. SO....this is your chance .... want to try a certain embellishment or need that special "something" to finish a page or 2? Need something stamped or maybe Cricut Cut? Just wish for it in the thread and we'll hope that our Scrappin' Sister Elves might just be able to grant it for you.

I need to do my daily album again, eek totally forgot till I saw this thread this am!!
Ok - I think I will do it Digi, as much as I wanted traditional this year, with the disaster in the basement it just won't happen
so that will be well - 31 pages.
Let's see hubby will actually be home Dec 24,25,26 (he asked and got those days off - woohoo)
Maddy's bday on the 22nd, plus her school play on the 14th. And taking her to American Doll Store for her bday with grandparents.
Maci's first Christmas, Maci turning 10 months in a few days.

I am going to go with 10 pages this month, just like every other month. I will be giving some thought for my goal for 2011....... I am thinking I will "up" the goal to push myself a little more. I will also be adding cards and maybe 1 or 2 other projects.
This thread has been a great help to me this year, it was that little extra push that I need to keep working on lay outs. I have some waiting on my work desk so I better get cracking.
So far I can not think of anything at the moment for a New Year Wish, but I will be giving it some thought!
I didn't get any pages totally finished in November but I have several in the works. I've already met my yearly goal and I have some Christmas papercrafting to do, so I'll just aim for the 5 I didn't get done in November. Hopefully I'll have more mojo in January 2011!!

WOW... where has the year gone! I did meet all my goals for NOV. and am proud to say that I am still on target for all of the year goals I had set for myself, even with all the ups and down over this past year.
So I think I will set my goals for DEC... the same as NOV.
I have three finished today with several more in the works. It goes a little faster when I take the time to "pre load" a page protector with the papers and embellisments I plan to use. Of course I add and subtract while I am gesining the page but at least the beginning work is done.

That is a good idea, to pre load with the photos! I am so far behind! 2005!

The Thursday Challenge goes ON. If you've ever played on Sunday's Featured Stamper Challenge than you know how this works. Each Thursday we'll feature a gallery for you to check out. Select a page for inspiration from that person's gallery and create your page. Upload the results so we can check it out. You can scraplift the page or just take inspiration from something you find, either way, please make sure you link her page to yours. Also, there isn't a time limit to this so have fun!
We had a fun time last week checking out Tiffany's (scs: TiffGuam) fun gallery! This week I think I've found another inspiring Gallery you will want to check out. This scrapper has quite the style for colorful pages. Check out Lesley's (SCS: Stampin' Lesley) Gallery! You will enjoy this beautiful gallery. Lesley described her style: "My Style: I call it the clutter bomb. Somewhere on my page, there is usually a cluster of embellishments and clutter. I have to restrain myself from going overboard."
I am starting a page right now, and I'm going to make a few pages for a secret santa gift. So I'm shooting for 4 but hoping for more!

Well ladies I haven't done so good this year with my scrapbooking. I hate looking at my YTD accomplishment. It makes me upset that I haven't had more time to spend finishing up books. :( As of right now, we are in the middle of selling our home and closing on a new one, soooooooooooooo, I have most of my crafting things packed away and probably won't have any of it back out until after Christmas.
I'm gonna have to catch up with all of you after the Holidays. I hope you have a great "end of the year"!
I have finished my goal for the year! yahoo!!!! Now I won't feel guilty if I give it a rest until January! I did this layout for the Inspiration challenge which is also the challenge at Papers and Pixels.
YES! Finally I'll have time on Saturday (today) to scrap! I've been looking forward to it all week. Finished most of my Christmas Cards, almost completed addresses and now some time just for FUN!

I'm actually taking time off at the holidays and hope I can get closer to mine. I have already done more pages this year than last so I guess that's all that counts :cool:

I'm looking forward to being a part of this challenge. I'm going to start a Christmas scrapbook, my goal is 10 pages for December.
How do you do the count that I see on everyone's post? Is it part of the signature?

Welcome Michelle...I'm glad you decided to join in! Yes. We each keep track of our progress in our signature lines.

You might not have met your goal but you exceeded what I had this year and that's a lot! Have a good holiday season! Have fun setting up your "new" craft area in your new home!
woohoo, hubby off to work the next couple of days so hopefully I can catch up on my album, pictures have been taken the past few days, tree decorated last night, so I have subject matter today, in case my girls aren't cooperative Now just hoping for good sleep schedules and naps!

Ok Cover page, inside page, Day 1 and Day 2 are done. Only going to count them as 2 pages though the others weren't that difficult to put together. Now to catch up on Day 3 and 4 and get a picture of our tree tonight for today's page

Took pics of our Christmas decorations and will get Day 5 done either later tonight after Maddy is in bed or sometime in the next couple of days.

So I didn't quite make my November goal (9 instead of 10), but I am determined to reach my yearly goal in spite of possibly moving in 2 weeks. I only have 8 layouts to go, so I would be really bummed if I missed it by so few. Lela, put me down for 8, and everyone wish me luck. My scrapping supplies are the last thing I will pack - LOL.

Oh my, you are inspring me to get off my desk chair and go to my work table chair to finish my goal for 2010.......... All I have going on in my life is getting ready for Christmas holidays with kids and grand kids. I can't imagine working in a move, yipes!

Yea, I did get it finished today. I embellishments with some inspiration form Leslies galleryusing a sketch I "pick up" from somewhere recently. Hate it when I can't remember.
Dec 6 completed Cruising right along this year, yeah for me I hope I can keep it up, this week is a lull, but it will get busier and busier with grandparents coming to town this weekend to celebrate Maddy's bday, I will have great pics, just no time!
