Splitcoaststampers.com - the world's #1 papercrafting community
You're currently viewing Splitcoaststampers as a GUEST. We pride ourselves on being great hosts, but guests have limited access to some of our incredible artwork, our lively forums and other super cool features of the site! You can join our incredible papercrafting community at NO COST. So what are you waiting for?
This is the place to share all of those fabulous Favorites you discovered in the SCS Gallery last week. Everyone can join in -- check my next post if you need directions.
Many of us will be celebrating Thanksgiving on Thursday. I'm thankful for our SCS community, for the friends I've met here, and for the constant inspiration of new gallery uploads. This site is made possible in part by support from the Member Companies. For my list this week, I chose one Favorite from each of them.
What did you add to your Favorites last week? Post your links and make someone's day.
About this thread: The current week's FAVORITES thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. Everyone is invited to post links to any special cards or projects that were uploaded last week.
If you are new to the FAVORITES threads, please read.
Each week we have newcomers to these threads. EVERYONE is welcome to join in. The more participation we have, the more interesting this thread will be.
--- Want to post a Thank You? Please do not use the Quote button.
Instead, scroll down and either type your response in the Quick Reply box or click the Go Advanced button. This thread will be easier to read without all the same link lists quoted over and over again. We've had terrific cooperation on this request. Thanks!
Optional: Pay It Forward. When you say "thank you," you're encouraged to also link to at least one of your own Favorites. This idea started with a suggestion from APandi, seconded by ChaosMom.
--- Was your card mentioned in this thread? Here's how to find it.
Let's say that you find out your card has been mentioned in this thread, but by the time you check it, there are dozens of links. Here's how to find yours:
1. At the top of the screen, click the drop-down box for Search this Thread.
2. Type in your screen name and click the Go button. Since most of the links include screen names, yours will probably show up in the search results.
--- Need help linking your Favorites? Follow these steps.
Make sure all the cards that you want to link are already in your SCS Gallery Favorites.
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button. In the Reply to Thread box, type what you want to say.
2. Open a second browser tab and load your SCS Gallery Favorites to display the thumbnails.
3. Right-click on a thumbnail and select Copy Shortcut (or Copy Link Location).
4. Go to the first tab again. Right-click and select Paste. Hit the Enter key twice to separate each link.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as many times as you need for your links.
6. Click the Preview Post button and check that all your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
Notes: For browsers without tabs, you can open separate windows. On a Mac, use Ctrl+click rather than right-click.

Thanks, Tinkerbell1958, for mentioning my Santa Gift Card.....which I just finished. You have made this a VERY special morning for me and brought me joy! : ) I LOVE your by-line!! LOL Hugs, Sallie
Thank you so much to chaosmom, for choosing two of my cute mice cards as favorites! Much appreciated. (I didn't even know there was a favorites discussion, so this was a nice surprise!)
In paying it forward, I'd like to mentions some favorites, too:
Judi (Crafts) let me know you had favorited my Shabby romancing card. It is my second attempt at this kind of cardmaking. So it is very rewarding to see that you and others have taken notice among this "army" of talented cardmakers. Thank you soooo much. Made me all warm and fuzzy inside.
Here are some faves:
Marie-Alice has such a whimsical way to this card, don't ya think:
Thanks, Becky(bspinks), for giving my "Frosted Pines" card a "favorite" recognition. You've made me feel "like a million" today. A BIG hug to you! Sallie
