Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I keep mine in a wooden cassett holder. I got it at a thrift store but I have seen them on ebay. It is mounted on the wall and I love it!

I keep prima bottles on the top.

I keep mine in a cassette box that was three dollars at a thrift shop too. The compartments are wide enough that I can put the reinker next to them. I haven't mounted it on the wall yet but hopefully that will happen soon. There are a ton of great ink organizers out there. Hopefully someone will come along and give you some links.

Someday I'm going to order the storage from Storage organizers for scrapbooking stamping and paper crafting

I think I would LOVE them! Maybe the DH will order them if I put them on my Christmas list!

Right now I have mine standing up in the boxes they came in, would that work as a quick fix for you if you still have the boxes, that is IF you got them in the collections.

Wow - that website looks very dangerous ;) I keep my SU! ink pads in their original boxes, too, and that works great for me.

Oh I have one of these! I ordered the big one and I have recently begun to have a problem with it. It's running out of spaces! LOL~ I mounted it on the wall and I really like it for SU ink pads, Momento ink pads, Versafine pads, etc.

I also have a SU stamp pad caddy that I love, but alas, that's full too. And I still have more ink pads in a drawer and my CTMH ones on a shelf. Think I'm a little addicted to ink?!?

Sign up for their emails. Occasionally they have a sale. I think I got mine 13% off for Friday the 13th or something like that.

There are some great threads on her that discuss this very topic. Here's a recent one, but if you look around, you'll probably find more. need ink pad storage ideas by kusmoo at Splitcoaststampers

The wooden cassette tape storage is what I'm hoping to find. It's made by Napa Valley something something. They have them on ebay, but they're kind of expensive when you factor in shipping. I'm hoping to find some at a thrift shop or yard sale around here some day.

I found one of those at Goodwill last week; I paid $3 for it. They only had one so I'm hoping to get lucky again because I need another one.

One of my favorite purchases has been my Stampin' Things units. They hold stamp pads of all sizes, reinkers, Stickles, markers, etc. I just recently rearranged mine, and now my Glimmer Mist is on top along with my stamp rolodex inventory. It is an amazing unit!

Alright, so you inspired me to finally check the goodwill that I drive by twice a day and guess what?!!! They had one!! It's a big honking thing that holds 100 cassettes. I was so excited I nearly hugged the lady beside me. I also found another storage unit that's smaller but will work nicely for storage of my non su pads. Yay!!!! Now I need to buy more ink pads to fill up the empty spaces!

ETA: I paid $3.50 for it!

I actually bought one yesterday for $2 at an antique store. I know cassette tape holder is considered an antique now! It is the Nappa Valley one and it holds about 100 cassettes. Im really excited about my find!

Is is o.k. to store the stamp ink pads on their side? Do they leak? I've just had them thrown in a plastic bin, and they never have. Pulled the insert out of my Coast cassette case and inserted them into the cassette slots. Hope it works well! Thanks for the idea! I like the idea of easy access to my inks. I want everything organized and easy access. So tired of digging through stuff to find something. And best of all, if it does work, it was free! Thanks again!
Oops, forgot to mention. The inks I have are CTMH, versamark, Momento, Stazon, Brilliance and Colorbox Chalk inks. Have some small ones, but they actually stack. Just have a small mixed selection.

I wouldn't just in case of a leak, you never know...I've had a leak before. Plus, your pads won't have the ink distributed evenly...could be a problem when inking up.

Thanks. I didn't think about the ink distribution! I'll just have to find another easy solution. Maybe build one with some cardboard or chipboard and those tons of wooden blocks I have left from unmounting stamps. LOL!

No problem...I don't have a good solution with such a mix of pads. I have all SU (except for my versamark and staz on) so I just have them stacked in the boxes they came in...maybe someone else will have a genius idea!

Well, maybe I have the solution now. I found this posted by one of the SCS posters. It is a link to a blog where a woman gives directions for making a stamp pad holder from foam core board. Looks very nice and inexpensive.
Rebel Inker: An inkpad holder for $6?
There is also a link in this thread where SewItSeams shows how she made one from cd cases.

I also use the Napa Valley cassette holders. A friend of mine picked me up one from Goodwill for $3, and I found one from Freecycle. It's a perfect solution.. you can paint them any color to match your decor. Mine are unpainted as of yet, but once I get my craft room reorganized, I will probably paint things so they look like they're at least coordinated.

My DH built one for me out of scraps we had around and a little bit that he had to buy. I had him blog about to help out anyone who was looking to build one. It's very sturdy and is the nicest piece of furniture in my stamp room! =)

I keep my SU pads grouped by color family in two three-drawer Sterlite plastic unit. Each drawer can stack four pads high and three deep with room around the edges for coordinated sponge storage. I found mine at Big Lots.

Default Ink Pad Holders

My husband makes these ink pad holders for our local Scrapbooking store and would gladly sell them to anyone who is interested. They can hold any ink pads.

I use the wooden cd holders and pull the two wood slats off one side and nail them to the front, to make it narrow instead of wide, these altered cd holders fit the stampin up pads perfectly! And they stack...

I just store mine in a paper/cardstock type DVD box from Ikea. Cheap and effective and easy to pick up and put back on the shelf when I am done.
