Default Cigar Boxes

I was given some cardboard and wooden cigar boxes - any ideas on what to do with them?

Thanks

they make the trendiest vintage handbags! just buy the handles at JoAnnes and maybe line the inside and add a closure. let us see what you decide to make. I love those boxes.

You could also do an advent calendar of sorts. Put numbers in pockets on the front and inside the cigar box are pieces of candy to count down the days till Xmas. Then move santa or someone around the front to "count down" the days left.

Hope that makes sense, I can picture it in my head. LOL

If you take a look at my blog, I hope this will give you and idea...I made these about three yrs ago, and decided to put mine up on my blog. They are good for keeping batteries inside my small one. And it sits on my coffee table. Looks good and function wise too...Whenever we need batteries for those many tv remotes, we here all know where the new ones can be found.

Purses! I love cigar boxes. I decoupaged one with images of Elvis and put some glitter and gems on it. Attached a drawer handle to it and made a shoulder strap of heavy silk cording and lined it with leopard fake fur. It turned out awesome!

You could check out Etsy or ebay for ideas.
