Challenge Title: "Sew Thankful for Friendship"
Hostess: pinkgirl76 aka Jessica Diedrich
Keyword: HYCCT23
Date: Saturday, October 23rd, 2010
Although I can't remember when I began sewing on paper (and trust me, I'm hard-pressed to be able to complete a button repair otherwise!), I seldom do a card or two a week that does NOT use some kind of stitching! I love the look, and I love the finished quality to my cards when I'm finished. I also love the look of faux and hand stitching, too!
And what better metaphor is there to friendship than symbolizing how we are all "Stitched together"? I love that, and am very grateful for my stampy friends!
So, here's my challenge for you: Create a card using SOME kind of stitching (machine, faux, or by hand) and create it in a "Grateful for Friendship" theme! If you don't like to stitch, use a stamp with a needle or thread on the image, just SOMETHING related to stitching! I'm SEW excited to see what you come up with!

I'm a faux gal myself! Work all day today so I may have to play catch up on this challenge on Monday (can't post on no post Sunday). Have a great day ladies!
Oh, sweet! I am all over this one. I don't usually machine sew on my cards, simply because I'm lazy -- stamping downstairs - machine upstairs -- haha! Thanks for a great challenge.
This is up my alley, my sewing machine is always out because I'm always making my tote bags. I should be able to come up with something. Thanks for posting.
So glad everyone likes the idea! Thank you! Can't wait to see what you all come up with

I was one of the ones who got a sneak peek at this - but I still didn't get my card made till this afternoon .
I don't do so much hand-sewing since DH persuaded me to buy a machine just for cards, so I used a bit of that as well as the machine on this one - Quilts and Friends
Jessica, this is a wonderful challenge. I won't be home long enough today to create anything but will try tomorrow. Thus far, I am a faux stitcher on cards but have a little machine I bought just for cards. One of these days I will give it a try.... Thanks.
