Default Of all the things you made in October. . . .

which paper craft creation brought you the most joy to admire and/or give when it was all done?

(And if you have pictures, please do share!)

I LOVE this monthly thread because it is great to check out everyone's creations. My fav was this simple Santa Hat Christmas card because when I showed DH, he was so blown away by the white FlowerSoft on the hat - he kept poking and feeling the FlowerSoft (lucky the glue holds the FlowerSoft on really well!). Think I might have to put the card away for him for Christmas! I also liked how the FlowerSoft added so much texture to the card.

Anyhoo, here is my little effort: Merry Christmas Hat

Can't wait to see what everyone else has for Show and Tell!

My Scarecrow Greetings card was my fav. I used some twine to make "straw hair" under his hat and I was quite pleased with my Copic coloring.

Thanks for having this thread!

After cleaning (once again!) my craft room, I renewed my new years resolution to actually use my craft supplies - no more hoarding!
So, with the Amuse calendar download I made myself a nice calendar for 2011 and broke a personal record for the amount of paper and supplies used on one project!
Here is a link:
Use up that paper calendar.nk by NancyK. - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

And even with all the supplies I used here - it did not make a dent in my stash....

This one because I tried a technique that was new to me (old to everyone else) and was happy with the way it came out. I also finally was able to use Glimmer Mist without splotches!

Decisions, decisions, October was a busy month for me, with all the Hope You Can Cling To challenges, the Mini VSN and so on...

Until yesterday, I would have said this card was my favorite but now it is tied with this card for that honor, at least as far as cards go.

I think my absolute favorite was these Halloween Treats for DH for work.

My favorite thing in October was this card I made for an Angel Company blog hop. The theme was Fall, and by this time was sick of fall cards (been making them since August). But I got an idea and this card was the result.

Falling Leaves - Happy Thanksgiving by mouseprints - Cards and Paper Crafts at Splitcoaststampers

I love how she turned out. This is one of my favorite stamps by TAC.

What a great thread! My favorite project was this fall card. I was hoping that the leaf die wouldn't be too small or too intricate to cut all these ribbon scraps and it totally worked! I plan on demo'ing this card at my November workshops as it certainly made me say "wow" when I cut it. :p

These are really terrific projects!! Oh my word - I'm blown away by the talent here!!

I started working early on some Christmas cards. Two of them I just love because of the incredible paper from Basic Grey. And another two because my "concepts" for it actually came out the way I had hoped . . . which is not always the case, LOL!!

Basic Grey's Jovial paper that I adore!:

Jingle Bell

Stocking

And ideas that actually worked:

Sled

Manger

Now that I have a solid start on Christmas, I'm going to enjoy doing some Thanksgiving cards :^) !!!

Thanks for sharing all of your terrific inspiration ladies!!

I thought that this was my favorite of the month. I've been working hard on my coloring skills and was thrilled with the results! I was especially proud of how my little birds came out.
But then, I did this one. Oh, I just love it! It was my first time combining a digi stamp with a rubber stamp and it worked out better than I imagined (although it took way longer than I thought it would).
Seems strange to toot my own horn, but I love seeing what everyone else calls their faves and I wanted to join in too!

how fun is this thread...so many wonderful projects....
I had an ok month in October...here are 2 of my cards I was really pleased with:

Oh Christmas Tree
This was a clean and simple card...so pretty in real life with the silver embossing but the photo really doesn't do it justice.

Field of Birthday Wishes
This was also a clean and simple card...love the way the colours turned out together.

I just uploaded this wreath I made on Saturday. I thought it turned out cute and was really easy. It was a great way to use up some stuff I had laying around. The whole wreath took just 4 pieces of kraft paper and about 125 brads. I also doused it with a half bottle of Glimmer Mist...I couldn't see it so I just kept spraying!
