I have two....one is a holiday card that is so cool with paper embroidery and the other is for my aunt and uncle's 60th Wedding Anniversary next weekend.
I LOVE this monthly thread because it is great to check out everyone's creations. My fav was this simple Santa Hat Christmas card because when I showed DH, he was so blown away by the white FlowerSoft on the hat - he kept poking and feeling the FlowerSoft (lucky the glue holds the FlowerSoft on really well!). Think I might have to put the card away for him for Christmas! I also liked how the FlowerSoft added so much texture to the card.
After cleaning (once again!) my craft room, I renewed my new years resolution to actually use my craft supplies - no more hoarding!
So, with the Amuse calendar download I made myself a nice calendar for 2011 and broke a personal record for the amount of paper and supplies used on one project!

And even with all the supplies I used here - it did not make a dent in my stash....
This one because I tried a technique that was new to me (old to everyone else) and was happy with the way it came out. I also finally was able to use Glimmer Mist without splotches!

I didn't know this was a monthly thread, and what a great idea. Now I'll have to be sure to look for this thread every month! Thanks to everyone for sharing your projects with us!
My favorite thing in October was this card I made for an Angel Company blog hop. The theme was Fall, and by this time was sick of fall cards (been making them since August). But I got an idea and this card was the result.
What a great thread! My favorite project was this fall card. I was hoping that the leaf die wouldn't be too small or too intricate to cut all these ribbon scraps and it totally worked! I plan on demo'ing this card at my November workshops as it certainly made me say "wow" when I cut it. :p

These are really terrific projects!! Oh my word - I'm blown away by the talent here!!
I started working early on some Christmas cards. Two of them I just love because of the incredible paper from Basic Grey. And another two because my "concepts" for it actually came out the way I had hoped . . . which is not always the case, LOL!!
I thought that this was my favorite of the month. I've been working hard on my coloring skills and was thrilled with the results! I was especially proud of how my little birds came out.
But then, I did this one. Oh, I just love it! It was my first time combining a digi stamp with a rubber stamp and it worked out better than I imagined (although it took way longer than I thought it would).
Seems strange to toot my own horn, but I love seeing what everyone else calls their faves and I wanted to join in too!

I just uploaded this wreath I made on Saturday. I thought it turned out cute and was really easy. It was a great way to use up some stuff I had laying around. The whole wreath took just 4 pieces of kraft paper and about 125 brads. I also doused it with a half bottle of Glimmer Mist...I couldn't see it so I just kept spraying!
