What did you add to your Favorites this week? Post your reply and make someone's day.
About this thread: The current "Favorites" thread is a way to give recognition to some of the standout creations shared in our SCS Gallery. Everyone is invited to post links to any special cards or projects that were uploaded last week.
If you are new to the Favorites threads, please read.
Want to post a Thank-You? Please do not use the Quote button.
Instead, scroll down and either type your response in the Quick Reply box or click the Go Advanced button. This thread will be easier to read without all the same link lists quoted over and over again. We've had a lot of cooperation on this request. Thanks!
--- Was your card mentioned in this thread? Here's how to find it.
Let's say that you find out your card has been mentioned in this thread, but by the time you check it, there are dozens of links. Here's how to find yours:
1. At the top of the screen, click the drop-down box for Search this Thread.
2. Type in your screen name and click the Go button. Since most of the links include screen names, yours will probably show up in the search results.
--- Don't know how to post your Favorites links? Follow these steps.
Make sure all the cards that you want to link are already in your SCS Gallery Favorites.
1. Load this week's Favorites thread in your first browser tab. Scroll down and click the Go Advanced button. In the Reply to Thread box, type what you want to say.
2. Open a second browser tab* and load your SCS Gallery Favorites to display the thumbnails.
3. Right-click on a thumbnail and select Copy Shortcut (or Copy Link Location).
4. Go to the first tab again. Right-click and select Paste. Hit the Enter key twice to separate each link.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 as many times as you need for your links.
6. Click the Preview Post button and check that all your links work. Then click the Submit Reply button.
* For browsers without tabs, you can open separate windows.

Thanks so much Chaos Mom for mentioning two of my cards, I'm tickled pink you like them.
Jill snuck this gorgeous snowflake in just under the radar about 30 minutes ago. I absolutely love it . . . what a gorgeous handmade Christmas ornament for the tree!
And, can someone please advise an old gal. I've forgotten how to create a link to the card name . . . does that make sense? How do I link the card to a word like "here"??
Thanks in advance. Jerri

Hi, Jerri -- You can't do that from the Quick Reply box. You need to click the Go Advanced button, and then in the Reply to Thread text box, paste your link. Then click the Preview Post button. Your http:// link will *magically* change into words in the text box below the preview. You can highlight those linked words and change them to whatever you want. HOWEVER, we are hoping to at least keep the screen names with the links so that people can find their mentions in this thread.
Wow Thank You Judi for letting me know my card was mentioned here!!! Thank you so much Technique Tuesday for Mentioning me as one of your favs this week such a nice suprise and it made my day!!!

Thanks Judi, oh DOH!!!! I just found the directions at the top of the page, I'm so sorry . . . .I'm living under a rock with Homer Simpson . . .. LOL! I think I'll leave them as is without doing anything fancy . . . . LOL . . . .too much for my technically challenged brain . . . LOL!

101st Veterans Day by scrapaholicbond26-there are several Veteran's Day cards in her gallery, all just as great, but I particularly like the flag on this one.

That's definitely the safest way to go.
Speaking from experience here, it's pretty easy to mess things up when you start editing the code.
Actually, there is another way to link specific words. In the Reply to Thread box, you can type the words you want to link, highlight them, and click the globe icon. Then you would paste your http:// address in the little pop-up. Again, you can use the Preview Post button to check that you did it correctly.
Great week of favs....lots of fabulous designs...hope some of these girls are soon a QFTD or FS so we can CASE their work - just might CASE them anyway
