I don't know if many of you know, but Stacey Caron and Kim Hupke from Spellbinders recently took a trip to Haiti and they were on a mission to make a difference.
They did some AMAZING things while they were their. They treked through some of the most impoverished areas to help children, taught classes and so much more. I especially love some of the video footage especially the one where Stacey is getting her hair braided by little Haitian children.
They took take time away from their highly successful businesses to spend time doing this and I am honored to call Stacey and Kim my friends who make a difference.
Check out the Spellbinders blog and read their diary of this mission here: Spellbinders Blog
Way to go Stacey and Kim! (I hope you don't mind me sharing this but I am so proud of you and your recent blog entry made me tear up! And since everyone loves your dies, it's time they know that you hearts are a millions time bigger than those new Grand Calibur dies!)
Love you!

OMGosh, I just read this. It broke my heart to read about the sweet little boy in so much pain, but thankfully they were able to help him get the medicine he needed. Reading their account really makes you see what a difference we all can make with our actions and financial efforts.
Wow!! Now how many of us are able to actually make a difference "hands on"??? That is so amazing and takes some very special people to do that!!! Thank you so much Stacey and Kim for helping to make a difference and show the world what a beautiful and giving spirit the crafting world can bring!!!!
It's a privilege and an honor to work for people like this. Their stories are so moving and it makes me stop and think about what I can do to make a difference! Thanks for sharing your stories, Stacey and Kim!!
I grew up in a third world country, so I've seen and lived in poverty, but have been blessed to get a better life. The trip that the Spellbinders team made to bring gifts and necessities to the Haitian people really touched my heart because the photos brought back many memories. Thank you, Stacey and Kim, for sharing their story with us and for reminding us that we, who are living in the West, are very blessed indeed and because of that, we should reach out to those who desperately need our help.

Wow, aren't we so lucky? What a wonderful thing Stacey and Kim have done. You know, since its not in the news anymore we all kind of forget about what others are going thru. Really puts things in perspective, doesn't it?
I am so honored to have worked with the Spellbinders Family. They are so awesome!
I don't know if the team from Spellbinders will ever fully understand the extent of the lives they touched but my prayer is that as their visit continues to live in the minds and hearts of everyone who was reached, God's hope and love would continue to be spread. I believe that even those reading about this sacrificial story will blessed and inspired.

Wow, somehow I missed this and thanks for posting Gina! I have always been most impressed with Spellbinders (as a company) and had no idea they had gone to Haiti on a mission to help make a difference. What an impact they had and what a beautiful post...really makes you tear up as you realize how much we take for granted. 2 thumbs up for Spellbinders in taking time to serve others. Now I need to buy more dies...lol!!
I love Spellbinders and think it is wonderful that they would take time from their busy schedule to encourage the people of Haiti. I too like to support a company that wants to give/help others.
Brings tears to my eyes.....Spellbinders Paper Arts have a huge heart....I know no other company who give as much as they do. I am not taking money or products...THEY GIVE OF THEMSELVES!! I am so proud to use thier products!
