Default Will the Cricut cut felt or other fabric

Hello! Has anyone cut felt with the cricut? What about the felt with the adhsive back? Anyone cut any other kind of fabric? How did it turn out? Thanks!

I've heard of people adhering lightweight fabric to paper and running it through the Cricut. I don't know if it required the use of the deeper cutting blade or not. You might check the message board at cricut.com

dsmom02.....The Cricut/Expression will cut light weight fabric. I've use a light cotton fabric. You have to mount it to fusible webbing to give it some stiffness, but not thickness.

Personally, I would not try felt in my machine. I would be afraid of the fibers coming off and getting in the machine.

I use my BIGkick for cutting materials that I don't want to put in my Cricut/Expression.

Thanks so much for the advise! I did not even think about the fibers hurting my E!! I don't think I will take the chance!
