How in the world do you keep the nozzle from getting clogged???
I started using it after being in a Melissa Frances class, and I really like it, but am getting really annoyed at how easily and fast it gets clogged up!

i keep multiple tips, and when one starts to clog, i switch it out. once the glue has totally dried in the tips, i use a paper piercer, and clean it out. i'm obsessive with having clean tips.....
i haven't found any glue i like as well as zip, so i'm ok with having to "work" a little to use it...

so save the tip from an empty bottle, clean it and have it ready for when the one on the bottle gets clogged, just swap it out?! brilliant idea! duh why didn't I think of that? I'll keep a few tips from now.
Thanks for a great idea NJscrapper, I was about to give up on my Zip Dry but I am going right into my craft room and stick a pin in that Zip Dry. Hopefully it will stop my frustrations.
Oooo - I'm going to try the pin thing - I think I can remember that! I keep forgetting to change it back to the flat lid, and tend to get sidetracked a lot when I'm making stuff - next thing I know it's clogged! Once this bottle is through, I'll save the tip too - great idea! I think I may have cut the hole in the tip too small too, so I'm going to try cutting it a little bigger and see what happens.

When you're finished using the glue, remove the pointed nozzle cap and put back on the screw cap. Store glue bottle upright. Remove all glue from pointed nozzle before storing.
If you leave a pin in the nozzle, the pin will become glued in the nozzle. Also glue collects just below nozzle and dries out.
Cut only the very tiny tip of the nozzle off so you have a very thin bead of glue coming out at any time. You'll have better control over your project assembly that way.
The multiple tips option works great for me. Be very careful about cutting extra off the tip - it doesn't take much to make that hole too big (ask me how I know). In fact, if you really think the hole needs to be a bit bigger, I'd try expanding it with just the tip of a paper piercer or needle first.
And I'm probably a warped, sick individual, but I love waiting until the glue dries in the tip and then working it out with my paper piercer. It makes such a satisfying "pop" when the whole thing lets loose and slides out.
I stopped using the tip and just dip the end of my embossing tool into the glue. I mostly use Zip Dry for adhering buttons, so a little dab is perfect and now I don't have to clean out the nozzle - just pull the left over glue off of the metal end of the dry embossing tool.
I found that the pin can also rust and leave an orange streak it the glue. I love this glue, so I deal with the trouble. I keep a piece of bendable floral wire wrapped around the lid and I just poke the wire in the top when it gets clogged. I need to save the lids ....sounds like a great idea
I love zip dry, but I had problems with the glue getting too thick to get out of the bottle... It was like it was drying up in the bottle. And mind you I use a lot of glue, it was sitting there forever.. Now I almost exclusively use my ATG/Glue Dots/Xyron...once is a while I wish I had some zip dry but I just use my glue dots instead...
Where do you find this glue at? Does Michael's and Hobby Lobby sell it?

I've only seen it at the conferences I've attended. A google search shows that Joanns has it, as well as several other websites. Hope it helps! It really is good glue.

Where do you find this glue at? Does Michael's and Hobby Lobby sell it?

Both my local Michaels & Joanns carries it - but it's not with the scrapping/stamping adhesives. It's back in the other aisle with all their other glues.
Anyone use Zip Dry glue?
