If you are looking for some cheaper dies to curb the craving until you find some you really like that you are willing to splash out on, check out ebay and Oh My Crafts - Delivering Possibilities i have gotten dies off ebay for 99 cents and there are also cheap dies at ohmycrafts although you tend to need to need to buy a heap to get a decent rate on postage as they are based in the US.
I dont know if you have been told, but you are able to use all dies in the big shot meaning you are able to use sizzix originals, bigz and folders, Cuttlebug (CB)'s smaller dies, other dies and folders, Spellbinders (nestabilities tend to be expensive but are 6 different sizes in a pack and make layering easier!) and there is also a new brand of folder (cant remember the name but your LSS will probably have them) that are really cheap (mine sells them for $5 but have seen them up to about $9).
Elisha thnak you for the post it was much appreciated -i am not a stamper just a digigirl who loves to make her own cards. saw the diecutter&embosser i was hooked-
yes i have been told and read about using the other dies.the name you are trying to remember is Craft Concepts i got 1 from a LSS in Brisbane- when you say a heap how many are you talking about will definitely check out your suggestions- re spelbinders i would love to get them to i have told my husband i want to go to the Brisbane craft show in october so i can see everything plus pick up some of the heavier items such as cutting pads off to check out links supplied thanks again
Elisha- i have just brought a OMC exclusive christmas set from them how long before they should arrive? any idea
i hit the pay button to quick :(i should have brought some more to fill out the envelope apparently we can get 8 in 1 envelope to Australia
I usually get packages from 1-3 weeks from the Us but you may not need to wait so long as you are closer to the US than me lol. Why not email them and see if you can add on?
Elisha thanks for the suggestion i might do that or just make up a new envelope with cheaper products knowing i can get 8 in a package- the other question do you use the $6.00 mail option if so any problems with it ? i saw some real cheap stuff that is also what i was looking to buy
Hi I'm from far north Queensland, this is the first time I'm writing in. I joined Stampin' Up! in March this year and was introduced to SCS via my team leader...this is such a great site with loads of inspiration.
oops this is supposed to be the introduction....I am an older mum of four children, 16,14,12 and nearly 9. I love being creative, tho spend more time being inspired by everyone else than actually being creative. I just have to make time to sit and make then share...
c u soon
WELCOME to SCS! Looks like you have had an interesting welcome.
Enjoy the inspiration and all the great stores to buy from. This is a wonderful place to be challenged and to learn from...and of course to meet friends that love to do what you do!
Be sure to check out the challenges and VSN and VSBN (during VSBN there will be something for digi scrappers).

Reason: errors
I was in photo continental a couple of months ago buying some paper. They've got such an extensive selection of all sorts of things, but I mostly get a bit overwhelmed by it all. At the time I knew exactly what I was after so I stayed focused on my shopping task. I've never been to the papercarfting show before. Bet it would be great!
Theresa i know what you mean Photocontinental is so big i was overwhelmed to. it was much better at the show everything was close together.the show on saturday was Quilt& Craft Show - the lady i spoke to on monday said Photocontinental goes to all the craft show- it was fabulous i came home after i had exhausted my budget:( i could have stayed for another 2 hours just looking at everything
