Clean and Simple (CAS) Favorites for the Week Ending September 26, 2010
Where oh where has September gone?
Thank you, kstamper, for starting this thread last week and also to those of you who wished me well! Colds seem to take forever to kick out of the house, but I am feeling halfway to well, which is huge and I'll take whatever I can get, LOL!
On to business. Welcome, EVERYONE, to this week's CAS Favorites thread. You are invited to share links to your favorite clean-and-simple projects posted in the gallery last week. Let's share a little love today with comments, too!
Here are my favorites:
jennysbugbites made a completely adorable witch kitty
LMcAree used liquid applique to make her snow scene simple perfect
pbvkt combined a very cool paint technique and pearls on her gorgeous Thank You Leaf card
Clear and Simple put pumpkins on a pedestal and colored them beautifully
katolejnik made very clever mittens for her Holiday Cheer card
tillymint created a monochromatic beauty with her Mums in Bloom card
GCgirl67 used fun leaves from SU, twine, and piercing on her Giving Thanks card
stamperjen0's crisp and clean apple card displays a simple and very effective button treatment
kstamper posted a perfect, fantastically flat holiday card that is simply marvelous
krystie lee's special teacher card is special all by itself
Angelnorth used GESSO on a card...and it's fabulous! Gotta dig out my jug of the stuff and use it just like she did!
keuby's Merry Christmas wreath with its twine bow is simply lovely
PaperInBloom showed how just a few touches of color can make a simple card fabulous
LeAnne Pugliese's Cool Beans used small, small stamps in a big, big way

Thank you so much Denise for mentioning my 'Dash away all' card this week. It took me weeks to find the dasher stamp but a short time to stamp it and put it together, I love CAS cards.

I didn't spend much time this week on stamping...spent time with family and with a major craft space remodel. My DH was out of town on a missions trip so I could make a mess and not have to clean it up! BUT I made up for only being on SCS twice during the week...last night I caught up! And I've already faved some that I missed, thanks to Susan and Denise ;) . Here's some more:

My Favs
I finally found time to check out the favorites for this week. Glad you are better Susan. So many have already been mentioned. Let's see if I can find some more.
MrsOke puts me in the Holiday spirit with that beautiful berry wreath.
Dcinkit makes me want to find that gingerbread man wheel.
CindyH used such soothing colors on her Sympathy card.
lateblossom welcomes fall beautifully.
keuby showcases another beautiful Holiday wreath.
CAKath used sponging and silhouettes beautifully.
So many beautiful cards this week. Thanks for all the inspiration! |
