I sent an email to Oozak to ask if they plan to stock "X-Press It Blending card" paper . I just got an email reply from Rusty and YES they will have It . He said he expects it to come in later next week. They have free shipping on $50 + so I hope this will be included in free shipping. I forgot to ask that
From what I have read everyone that tried it loves it so I would like to try it.
The cost is a lot , but I love my Copics and if it makes them look even better I will buy some of it.
I think I will try out a new image and colors on my Neenah until I am sure I like the way it looks . I am new to Copics so frequently I try a color combo and I am not be completely satisfied with it. I certainly would not want to waste such expensive paper.
When I am completely satisfied with the way it looks I can then duplicate it on the expensive paper.
Plus I can get a minimum of 4 images from an 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper so it should go a long way.
Notice how I am trying to justify spending so much money on this paper
:rolleyes::lol::lol:
I just saw it on sale at icopic...whew it is expensive....$57.99 (69.99 regular price) for 125 sheets. I will wait for Rusty to get it. Is it just that good or is it that it is imported? I guess now I know how our friends across the pond feel...
or if you don't want to invest in a big package like I did you can purchase the package that have 25 or 65 sheets. $12.99 for 25 sheets to test it out.
Where did you find this coupon? Is it in a newsletter?
Thanks
Barbara
Oh I forgot...I'm there Gold Member which mean you can get free shipping over $50 and also use the $8 off. But if you not a Gold Member they charge a flat fee of $5.99 so not too bad. Sorry about that Barbara.

That's a great deal on shipping. I live in Canada and calculated how much it would be for the 65 pack. The shipping alone was 27.50 just to get to me. OUCH! I wish I lived near the border. ;-)
Dennis is the man who owns Ecstasy Crafts in Canada .
I have done business with him for years for my parchment craft supplies . He is a great guy. He has a tiny office over the border in the USA so he can mail to us without excessive poatage chages
He imports card making supplies from all all over the world
If enough Canadians contacted him and asked him to stock Copics and X-Press Blending card I'll bet he would do it.
He is a one owner business and I am sure he can't commit to a new line for just a couple of people, but if there is enough interest he probably will get them..
Contact other Canadians on Splitcoast and see if they will also ask Dennis to stock Copics and the paper. You have nothing to lose by asking
i NEED this paper! and i'm trusting you ladies with more time on your hands than I do will find out where I can get it so I'll be watching this post closely!

I got an email from Oozak that they just got it in today
I got the email too, Barbara! Ordered immediately - a friend and I are splitting the paper and cost, so not too steep. Can't wait - I'm sure I'll love it.
I got my paper today-that was quick! I'll give it a try tonight.
Fantastic! Let us know what you think of it. I am anxious to know what others think of it. I have quite a bit of Neenah , but if this stuff is superior I will order some before I run out of the Neenah paper. I love my Copics
Thanks

I've had a chance to color this morning with it...There IS a difference! I've made 2 observations: 1. The colors are just a smidge darker on the X-Press It. (But, I think the colors are TRUER). 2. This paper allows for more blendability than the other papers we use. When coloring hair for instance, you can go back in and shade/feather/blend over and over.
Now I've only just begun to experiment, but so far, this is my favorite paper for Copic Marker coloring, and I've tried them all - Neenah, Gina K (both 80 and 110), Papertrey, Bee Marker Paper.
Gale - weigh in, please, and tell us what you think. Do you agree with me?
Thanks!!
I don't have a problem with the bleed through, because I color an image and then cut it out with a Nestie and attach it to a card.
I had a little problem with Gina k's 110 paper. I had to work very quickly or it would streak if I tried to re-blend . The Copics dried quite fast on it, especially the darker colors such as reds.
I will still use Gina k's 110 for my bases . Does the X-Press-It shade of white closely match Gina K's paper? All shades of white are a bit different.
It is a bit pricy , but if it is only used for images it will last a long time. I can visualize fitting 6 or more stamped images on one sheet of X-Press-It
Thanks again !
Has anyone else tried the X-Press It ?

It's a different shade of white. Both will stand out from each other. I would say Gina K is a brighter shade of white than that of X-Press It.
Posted this in Copic Chatter but thought I would cross post here as well...
Here are some retailers of the X-Press It Blending Card and their prices as of 9/23... hope this helps!

Just to add to this great list..... for Canadians...
onecrazystamper.com is selling X-Press It Blending card for $.50 CND per sheet or $56.00 CND for 125 sheets. Orders over $100.00 CND get free shipping. I just ordered some since this option is cheaper for me when shipping is factored in. My package came in about four days.
PS- I also bought a bunch of sketch markers for $4.95 CND each! :p

I see that in Calgary, but can be ordered on line as well Scrapbookers Paradise has it, not sure the price, just saw on the facebook page. Members have a 40% off coupon today. I think I will stop and get some to try.
Hiya ladies! well, i got my hands on this paper and let me just say, if you are a copic fan...this is THE paper for you! i played with it a bit and the colors blend seamlessly with no bleeding. i LOVE IT LOVE LOVE IT....BUT....i also like to use pencils to create some shading to add texture on and around my image and this is where it fails. It is super smooth, way to smooth for pencils because there is absolutely no 'TOOTH' for the pencils to grip on to. so if you are a hybrid gal like me, i would stray away from it....but if you are a copic purist....you MUST get it....and a little birdie told me that Stamping Bella will be carrying it! not seen it on the sight yet, but hoping it will be there next week.
Thanks for the input!! From the reviews here it looks like this paper is a winner. I only use Copics not pencils, so the fact it doesn't work well with pencils would be no problem for me. I love my Copics!
I am on a fixed income and have a strict budget. I ordered 3 sets of Nesties this month so this month's budget has been spent. My budget goes from mid month to mid month.
However, it looks like I will need to revise what I plan to buy next month and move the X-Press-It up to the top the list. The order of Christmas stamps will have to wait . I have two sets of Christmas stamps I got on e-Bay that I have not used. Plus the Christmas stamps I bought last year . So if I don't buy more this year I have plenty. I would rather have the paper to make the images I have look great ;)
I just did an order with Paper Maniac and even with shipping I got some 8x8 graphic 45 papers and 10 sheets of the blending paper and my hard to find in Canada Flourishes "witching you a happy Halloween" for less then 50 CND including shipping. Not bad as I was up to about 100.00 trying to get cheap shipping at another on line site. Now to see how fast it is for shipping.
I received my X press it blending paper yesterday and used it this morning. Oh my - it is very nice! It is very smooth paper, blends wonderfully and the best part is that I can run it through my printer for all my digi images!
The paper I was using before was too heavy to go through my printer so this is perfect! I purchased mine at Icopic, along with a bunch more markers!
