Are you ready for these colors or what? I totally stepped out of my comfort zone for these hues. I was not a big fan of pacific point when it was an in color, but I thought I would break free and embrace some of my least favs. I really like the results. I thought these shades could make some really rich fall cards, manly cards, or even something girly....especially with that dessert option! So, let's see what you can do with pacific razzleberry olives!

Pacific Point
Rich Razzleberry
Old Olives
Neutrals: White, Ivory, or black
This week's dessert option: Doilies! Wow! Aren't these the forever popular little things showing up everywhere on cards and scrapbook pages. I have seen fabric, lace, knitted, crocheted, and paper ones. Don't have any doilies? Try making one with punches. Have fun with it!
I asked Cheryl and Cindy to sample with me this week! Thanks so much, girls!
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC285 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here!

I'm with you, only really deciding I liked Pacific Point after it was officially retired. It is a gorgeous, vivid blue, so let's see if I can come up with something worthy for the challenge. Thanks.
Wonderful challenge, Betty! I didn't have Pacific Point so I substituted. I have made the doilies with the punches before and love those so it was good to have the opportunity to do that again. Card is made and I'll upload Tuesday morning.

Ah, another chance to show my (extremely venerable) age: there is a drawer in our kitchen that's chock full of nothing but paper doilies from back in the day when not even a glass of iced tea was served without one. Loving the cards you all are creating.
This one was a "toughie" for me, Betty! Using substitute papers probably didn't help. They seemed to be all the same value in the papers that I thought would match and, therefore, seemed a little harder to work with. But this is a challenge!!....so on I went. Not my favorite card, but perhaps one I would send to my "second tier" of recipients.......the ones who look and toss! : ) Thanks for REALLY stretching me this morning!
