It is time for another SCS Color Combo with dessert option! I chose some fun colors to work with! I know you can make some pretties with these colors! Also, I may need someone to let me know if I start using cherry cobbler too frequently! LOL! My hand just seems to float toward that color in my collection! I apologize if you think I have used it too much already! I will try to venture away from the Cherry Cobbler at times!

This week's dessert option: Pinking Shears! I am starting to see more and more where people are returning to a few basics in our craft supplies! Pinking Sheers, while I believe are still just scissors, are still holding their own in the crafting arena!
I asked Birgit to sample with me this week! Birgit always participates in the CC Challenges among many other challenges here at SCS. On Sunday, August 15th, she was revealed as one of two of the newest SCS Dirty Dozen! Check out that special Fan Club gallery here! Congrats again, Birgit! You are so deserving! If you are not a Fan Club member find out how you can become one here!
Please keep in mind, too, that while we list SU colors for the challenges these are just color reference points. Use the closest colors you have. We want everyone to be able to play!!!
Please put CC284 in your keywords section (and if you have more than one challenge use a comma to separate them) so we can find your card! If you need help uploading click here!
Hey Betty, I've been stalking, I mean waiting for the challenge and here it is! Love to play these. Thanks for keeping these challenges going. Can't wait to play with these colors tonight.

I guess this is really a triple threat today as it qualified for the CAS challenge, TLC challenge and your color challenge. It didn't end up as I had hoped but here it is! Beautiful colors that I will reach for again. Thanks, Betty.
Fab colors, Betty...really love that Cherry Cobbler shade of red!! MY CARD

I was glad to use cherry cobbler... I don't feel like I've used it enough! Funny how we all venture toward a certain color! Concord Crush is my neglected new color. And I am surprising really loving Blushing Bride, which I was never excited about. I love the antique dirty pink look of it. Anyway, thanks for the stretch this week!
At first, I wasn't crazy about this color combo. But hey, that's why we do them right, to get outta our comfort zone. But I REALLY like how my card turned out!
