This week's SCS Inspiration Challenge comes from the Denver store Decade Gifts. Owner Kristen Tait features lots of unique gift ideas, vintage furniture and clothing, as well as locally made accessories and housewares. She also donates a small portion of proceeds from each category to local charities.
For those of you who say you get overwhelmed with having too many choices, I’ve uploaded three of my favorites … so just stick with one (or all) of those for your inspiration. The rest of you, remember to let us know which product from Decade Gifts that inspired you.
I asked the talented Judy (StampingQueenJAR) to join me in making a sample for this week’s challenge.
Use the keyword: IC245 (no spaces or extra characters) when you upload your card, and make sure you put commas between your key words.
How to Play ~ View the attached images. You may be inspired to recreate the pieces ~ but that isn't necessary ... get your inspiration from the colors, layout, style or 'theme'. Just enjoy wherever your inspired creative journey takes you. Remember, if you are inspired by the creation of another artist, please do not use print-outs of the art in your creation or directly copy their work. Make the inspiration piece your own. Don't worry ~ no card is 'wrong' and there is no time limit for uploading your card for the challenge. There are no rules, so let your creative juices run wild ~ be *inspired* and go get stamping!
Don't forget about No Upload Sunday - Let's give the gallery moderators a day off and not upload on Sunday (unless, of course, you are a Fan Club member - yet another reason to spend a little money on your favorite site). Also, remember to link to your SCS gallery on this thread. Thank you for joining me on this inspiration journey.
Stef, I dont know how you continually come up with such fun sites, but you do week after week. I know this take a lot of your time trying to find something new and exciting. You've hit the jackpot with this one today. Thanks so much.

What a great site and what a creative challenge this week. These first few entries so far are so amazing. I can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. I admire you gals so much for doing these challenges so regularly. Lovely works of art so far. Blessings, Lela

This wasn't the first thing that inspired me, but it's easier to execute, so I made it first . Some lovely stuff there - that glass frame made me so regret that they pretty much only ship mainland North America. I LOVED it!!
WOW What a great site!
I picked a pair of earrings and copied all the colors in the earrings for my colors on my card.
There were a thousand colors I could have picked, and images...I bookmaked this site!!!
Thank you for this!
Egads, I finally tried to do an altered thing - I bow to you wonderful people who make it look so easy!
Stephanie, you continue to amaze me with your dedication to finding wonderful inspirations.

I spaced and forgot to make my card this week for today's Sweet Stop sketch, so I decided to pair it up with today's fabulous challenge. It was a match made in heaven ;)!
I was rummaging through my clear stamps...what a mess! I have no idea who made most of them and I forget to look at them, other than my PTI sets which are very organized. Anyway, I ran across an image that reminded me SO much of something I had seen on today's chosen site. Thanks, Stef, again for a fun site!
First time trying to do this challenge and This is a great site, I'm trying to narrow my choices...lol
Can't wait to see what I come up with
So excited

Thanks, Stef, for another great site to look at. I picked the Miso Pretty Gift set, so that I could use the big image from Flourishes Cherry Blossoms set
