and bought Petal Prints this morning... I couldn't resist anymore.. the pressure was just too much and I felt my blood pressure rise. The card gallery was just too beautiful.... I'm getting a very large stamping order this week and Petal Prints probably will come next week and I will be very busy.. I plan to upload my creations for the first time soon... Please stay tuned...

I'm breaking down today too. I had a great stamp camp and am treating myself to it. After all, I have to have something to demo before new catalog sets start appearing on my doorstep!

I just got mine yesterday!! I can't wait to stamp with it...I sat in front of the TV (while using my powers of deductive reasoning to figure out "THE" secret!!) and trimmed it up........it's ready to rock now!!

Okay.. now I don't feel so bad... I did also get more paper... I needed more paper... :twisted: Did I mention I have 60 of those stackable paper trays? and I would get more if I had the room. I have to wait until DH finishes off the basement.
and ... this website is awesome... I check here more than the SU website... don't you think SU should fund this site as well???? Do you think Shelli checks here- I bet she does! Oh my gosh.. I have to get back to work- too much stampin on my mind :lol:

LOL. I am dying over here. You guys sound just like me. I told Jenn only yesterday that I really NEED to go to the scrapbook store for more embellishments. So NEED them.
But you guys did the right thing. You do NEED the Petal Prints. I think that should be a new Splitcoaststampers (or SCS for lazy typer like me) rule. You got to have a Petal Print in your home to be a member here! LOL
It's the best set!!! Have fun with it.
I must say my demo (Kookie) used petal prints at the last party and now I must have it! So many stamp sets and so few dollars ho hum -- DH really doesn't need to eat this week! (KIDDING)
Schrades - if you have a stamp in one hand and a punch in the other, no hands are left for food! I'm calling it my stampin' diet (10 lbs to go, the thyroid thing has nothing to do with it!)
Along with Petal Prints, isn't a chicken grilling rack required? I heard it's going to be in the new catalog, in the gourmet section ... :lol:

Shew! I'm so glad that I have my Petal Prints set already! I'd hate to be kicked out of SCS!! But we do have a fancy-schmancy beer butt chicken roaster... not the one that made it's way on to the forum but one from a Home Brewer's Catalog!! Our chicken gets only the best homebrew up it's rump!!
Okay, I'm giggling again with the BBC thing!! I have to be able to drive safely to the post office, so I'd better leave now before the teary eyes set in again! :lol:

Oooo... I just got my Fresh Flowers set yesterday and was SO excited - now I need to get Petal Prints too? Oh my goodness - the list continues to grow!!! Can I wait until the new catty comes out or do I get it now... what color ink pads will I get next...and my blender pens...and the brass template for Fresh Flowers... will the list ever end? Petal Prints is an wonderful set & it better in in next years catalog! I am having fun with it. Now if only I had a digital camera or a scanner.....that would take money away from stamps. Digital camera.... stamps. You know stamps will win every time!!! Maybe I can find a good deal somewhere.
I have to agree...Petal Prints is a MUST have! The samples in the gallery are so beautiful! I have a broken RIGHT hand and have not been able to stamp for 4 weeks now! Going crazy!! Can't wait to get a chance to actually use my set!
I don't have petal prints.. hoping it is in the new catalog so am going to wait till it comes out. If it isn't in the new catalog I am going to get it ordered through my demonstrator ASAP!! love all the samples that have been in the gallery with it...
I'm so jealous! It is at the top of my list but I must hold on until the new catty comes out. I just started my paper route yesterday (well, it's mostly for my ds but he is in Tenn. right now so I get all the profit! Wahaahaaahaa :twisted: ). I was walking from house to house up this hill down that and thinking of when I would get to spend my big bucks ($3.50 per house per month!) when I had to stop chewing my gum. Broke a tooth! Well, I think it is more cracked than broke but still. Gotta go to the dentist today or tomarrow and see if they can fix it. Waaaaaaaa! :( There goes my stamp money! Where is the justice?!
You simply must share your examples when ya get your set. The more I see that set, the more I must have it. Say....what's your addy? How badly do you think you would miss it? No, I must get my own. I know. I know. lol

I just got my Petal Prints yesterday! I usually procrastinate on mounting my stamps, but last night I mounted this set right away so I could use it! I bought mine too because of all of the pretty samples on this site!
Now the clown is a different story...NOTHING will make me want to buy the clown :shock:
Am I the only one who is not in love with this set? It's okay, but I guess it's not my style. I keep hearing how you all love it, and I keep looking back at it thinking maybe it will grow on me, but alas..... no. Maybe it will just take longer than others!
I was kind of hoping that you had broke down and bought the CLOWN! Come on! Sure Petal Prints is cute and I personally have enjoyed playing with it, but the clown is fun! He's cute! Buy the clown!

how? how ? just HOW did you guys NOT fall in love at first sight with petal prints? i received my summer mini.. and i was soooooo in love at first sight. better than wc garden and spring garden.. my faves till this one rolled around. now.. just waiting for it to arrive at my house.. it is ordered.. just not here yet!
I am really hoping that they put petal prints into the 2004-2005 catalog!!!! I love it too and when I used it at my last workshop, it made a very good impression!!! Oh I hope it is in the new catty!!!!
Well, I went and checked the gallery and I can see why you all love it. There are some beautiful cards out there. I wish I could be so creative. I may have to purchase it and hope that it takes me over.
My demo doesn't have any workshops going on before the mini expires, so I have asked her to put in a special order! I will be my own hostess this month. I think I will put in enough to qualify! Petal Prints has been on my wishlist from the very first sample I saw. Everone has done such a wonderful job with them!
My biggest fear is the mounting (never my favourite part, by any streach) but I have seen some posts regarding extra care needed, Hope I can live through the task once it arrives! I do NEED it, too.
Heather, don't worry, the stems are not as hard to cut and mount as it seems it would be. I had no problem with mine and I was DREADING it...so keep your chin up! It will be easy compared to what you think it will be!
No No No No No!! Don't make it a requirement to have Petal Prints to be a member here, my teeny tiny pocketbook can't afford it until AFTER Convention!! I don't want to miss out on the BIG news coming that week, please let me stay!!!!

I got so excited when I read the first page of this discussion, because I just ordered the set on Saturday (great party - fabulous brunch - even more wonderful group of giggly friends). I thought "boy, I'm in now!" You girls are the BEST - I love reading your discussions. I only wish I was around all day to get in the middle of some.
